We consider ourselves lucky to have the option to travel at any time of year. It’s September now and we’re currently traveling in Newfoundland and plan to be here until mid-October. We chose this time of year so we could finish our tour of the province at a time when we could catch the Celtic Colors Festival as we pass through Cape Breton Island before returning home to Ontario.

“Fixin’” is a real word here in the South! It’s a word that conveys intentionality and serious purpose with a commitment to follow through. Don’t confuse it with “fixins”, which means the dozens of side dishes you plan on serving with Thanksgiving dinner.
On most online platforms including Boondockers Welcome, you need to choose a user name for yourself when you register. This is the public name you will go by; other users of the site will know you by this name. Think of it as a nickname, your handle, screen name, or login name.
