Occasionally we receive interesting photos or stories from our hosts and guests. Recently Sunny27 reached out to us with a photo from her visit with a host in France. We were so intrigued about her travels as she used four hosts during her adventure. We decided to ask her more questions about her experience with our European hosts.

If you’re subscribed to our weekly newsletter, you’re probably aware that we’ve had a constant stream of new hosts joining. For the past few months I’ve been saying, we have “almost” 2000 host listings. So I’m pretty excited to announce that this week we reached and surpassed that milestone. I think that’s cause for a bit of a celebration, don’t you?
We love to hear from our hosts and guests about their experience using our site. Occasionally we have hosts that write in to tell us something unique they do for their guests. We spoke with Our3Acres who have only been members for a short time but they have some great advice for hosts and guests.
A few months ago, Bob Nelson (host extraordinaire) told us he would be attending his local RV Owners Association rally in June, and that he planned to give a presentation about the joys of being a Boondockers Welcome host. From Bob’s report, it was quite a success!
Thank you to SmokinSoleResort, who sent us this story and the photos to go with it.
As you read it, I'd like to draw your attention to this line: "It's different each time you host. Some guests like to hang out with the hosts for part of the time while others just park and say thank you and then go do their own thing."
(We wouldn't want guests to expect this level of hospitality from every host or, in fact, from this host on every occasion).
