Occasionally we receive interesting photos or stories from our hosts and guests. Recently Sunny27 reached out to us with a photo from her visit with a host in France. We were so intrigued about her travels as she used four hosts during her adventure. We decided to ask her more questions about her experience with our European hosts.
If you’re subscribed to our weekly newsletter, you’re probably aware that we’ve had a constant stream of new hosts joining. For the past few months I’ve been saying, we have “almost” 2000 host listings. So I’m pretty excited to announce that this week we reached and surpassed that milestone. I think that’s cause for a bit of a celebration, don’t you?
Every Tuesday we post a guest tip of the week. We realize not everyone follows us on social media (though we would love it if you would) or has a social media account. So, we thought we would share some of the guest tips we've shared so far.
We love to hear from our hosts and guests about their experience using our site. Occasionally we have hosts that write in to tell us something unique they do for their guests. We spoke with Our3Acres who have only been members for a short time but they have some great advice for hosts and guests.
Are you a planner? Or do you prefer to blow with the wind? There are pros and cons to each travel style and, as we learned this week, things can go wrong, no matter which you choose.
If you have an active guest membership and have logged in recently you’ll know that we added a few items to the rules of etiquette for guests and that you’ll be required to agree to them before you can continue.
A few months ago, Bob Nelson (host extraordinaire) told us he would be attending his local RV Owners Association rally in June, and that he planned to give a presentation about the joys of being a Boondockers Welcome host. From Bob’s report, it was quite a success!
