Access Road Conditions

Very busy street. You'll need to park front end first to fit under the front deck. A bit of a challenge to back out, you'll need to ease out slowly and cut traffic. It's feasable, I often back up a trailer with my SUV, you just have to ignore the impatient drivers :-) Spot is 25 feet full height with a few more under the front deck, 12 feet wide. Slide-out allowed if it fits !
Best to drive in from the South, much easier to turn in.

Site Description

Perfect urban boondock location. I am pleased to share my front driveway and park on the street. Electricity (15 amps) and water available. 2 different buses direct to subway at the corner. Bixi station at the corner. Grey water can be dumped. Kids welcome. Dogs welcome. Cats stay in the RV. I also share the backyard if I don't need it. You can dump garbage and recycling in the big bins (green is recycling).
Past guests suggest earplugs if you are a light sleeper, my street is quite busy.

Actually never got to meet this wonderful host, but feel like I got to know him. Very communicative, helpful, easy and kind. While in the city I left my van parked in this host's driveway about 5 days and it was easy to get to, safe and a short walk to the metro. Highly recommend, total 5 stars!
Thank you bunches and hope to meet one day. Take care always and until then,

We hardly knew they were here. They really seemed to enjoy their stay here and were grateful guests.

Urbansurfer was very welcoming and helpful in all our interactions. The street is busy but seemed much less so in the evening. We found getting in and out of his driveway in our high roof, extended Fird Transit cargo van to be much easier we expected. Public transportation is really close for adventuring into other areas of MTL.
