Was nice to have them visit
Site Has Available:
I am generally open to visitors Sept through early May. 2017 I too plan on traveling and using this wonderful Boondockers Welcome system so please contact me early (at least a few days in advance) so you'll know whether or not I'll be home.
Access Road Conditions
The roads leading to my property are all paved and you should have no problems.
I have over 8 acres of rolling hills Southeast of San Antonio, Texas. I have a full 50 amp, water, sewer hook up behind my house and also a nice pasture/field in front of my home suitable for any size rig if you want to dry camp.
Suggested Local Attractions
San Antonio offers the world famous River walk, Amusement parks (Sea World, Six Flags) and lots of cultural sights, museums and world class shopping. Oh, and don't forget the fabulous Mexican food.
In A Few Words...
A Little More Detail
I enjoy traveling and meeting others. I enjoy hosting/meeting people from other areas. I live in the country outside a small town 30 miles southeast of San Antonio, Texas. Within a half hour drive you have access to a wonderful historical and culturally diverse city. In San Antonio you can get foods from all over the world. There are lots of theme parks, theaters and historical things to see while visiting the city. My house, on the other hand, is very quiet and peaceful. I have over 8 acres and am about 4 miles outside a small town but it does have a new Walmart Super center.
I am willing to host guests from Sept thru early May. However, I'm leaving in Jan 2017 for a few months. The rest of the summer I'll be in and out. Check early and hopefully I'll be able to accommodate you.
Favorite Boondocking Locations
Most anywhere in southern Utah or any mountain.
I have Freddy, a very friendly yellow lab and Chelsea, a cute little black and white Chihuahua. They both get along well with people/kids and other dogs.
