Most times we are available, please send us a message to see if we can accommodate you during your timeline. Please try to send messages during the Monday thru Friday time, as I often do not get on line during the weekends.
Access Road Conditions
Access road is paved, larger units will want to back into driveway. You will have plenty of room, the school bus used to back in. Driveway is gravel and parking is in grass to the West (left as you face the house) of the driveway, please do not drive or park in farm fields.
There is also parking by barn, but no electric available, probably better for smaller units.
We can accommodate most any vehicle up to 35 foot. Parking is in front of the main house and 20 amp power is available with a 100ft extension cord. Pets on leash are welcome, you may bbq outside of vehicle, but you must use the fire ring by the barn if you want a fire (firewood avail at no charge), generators are welcome. We are located on 30+ acres of woods and farm land. If here when crops are planted, please stay out of the fields. You are welcome to walk in the woods. There is a public beach and boat ramp within a couple of miles of our home should you like to use them or to fish.
Suggested Local Attractions
We are about 30 miles from Shipshewana, IN and Notre Dame in South Bend, IN and about 10 miles North of Elkhart, IN. There are numerous lakes around us if you like to boat, swim or fish.
In A Few Words...
A Little More Detail
We are getting close to retirement and enjoy meeting others people. Ellis grew up camping and moved with family often. Sheryl grew up on a local farm with animals so always stayed close until we married 35 years ago. We enjoy traveling, meeting locals where ever we are, enjoy our family and are content staying at home if needed.
We are very active in our local fair, and coach two different schools with their FFA kids in leadership contests each spring.
