A Little More Detail

We camp on a 3 1/2 acre (mostly cleared) shore lot overlooking the beautiful Miramichi River just east of the city limits of the City of Miramichi, New Brunswick (Postal Code E1V7C9) at Lower Newcastle. The drive into the lot is paved, 1000 ft of Route 11 with one sharp turn but very negotiable. Last year we drilled a well and expect to have water this summer. Power and sewage to follow shortly. We are between the City of Miramichi and Neguac, the entrance to the Acadian Peninsula on Route 11 North.

The City of Miramichi is called the City of Festivals including the Irish festival, Miramichi Revival, the Scottish Festival, Rock and Roll (Canada Day) Festival, Tall Ships and many more. Checkout Miramichi.org

Use either deck or wherever you like. Enjoy. There is a set of stairs to the river. It's a bit mucky but the water is lovely

Parked a hundred feet from the river in this beautiful location. Very quiet at night and we made a small fire in their ring.

Our first night in Canada and this will be hard to top.

Even though they are not here they welcomed us to stay...so glad we did!

Thanks
