Thanks so much for opening your yard for an overnight stay. Great hospitality and very cordial hosts in a super ranch like setting...really enjoyed it. Windmill camp.

You are welcome to stop any time I am home. Being retired, I travel more frequently.
The winter time can be unpredictable. Because of our altitude, 6700 feet, we get snow. Anywhere from a few inches to a couple of feet. You just have to pay close attention to weather forecasts. The road in front of our house is plowed by the county as soon as it starts to snow. Our 900 foot long drive is not plowed.
Access Road Conditions
We are 10 miles form I40 on a paved well maintained road. I get my class A 37 foot RV up and down the road with no problems.
Our site Not Available for the following dates:

IMPORTANT: I have had several people contact me about staying and I have gotten back to them too late. I am retired and do not get on my computer every day. In fact I can go several days without checking e-mails. Please give me several days notice so I can be sure to respond.
About my place: We live in the mountains at 6,700 feet in elevation. We are 30 miles east of Albuquerque. We have 40 acres located literally in the middle of nowhere. They call this area the High Desert. There are few trees and lots of open range land.
At night it is very quiet. On a new moon it is also very dark. If the sky is clear, and most nights are, you can see thousands of stars.
Our land is not part of any city limits. We are part of Rural Santa Fe County. The nearest town to us is Edgewood, NM about 10 miles away. I told you we are in the middle of nowhere.
Suggested Local Attractions
We are midway between Albuquerque and Santa Fe New Mexico. Both cities offer tons of historical and cultural things to see and do.
In A Few Words...
A Little More Detail
I and my spouse, Herman, have been RVing since 2010. We bought our first RV because our good friends, who have RVed for 15 years kept telling us how wonderful it was. They were right! We love it.
While I am retired, Herman has a few more years to work. That means our time to travel in our RV is somewhat limited until he retires. We are looking forward to part-time/full-time travel in a few years.
We like to take the RV and go to one of New Mexico's beautiful state parks and just relax. Spending the days hiking, reading and doing nothing.
I will upload photos of our place soon.

Three Rivers Recreation Area, NM
It is at 6,400 feet elevation. There are 12 sites well spaced. There is a horse corrals at the top fo the loop. The loop has vault toilets.
The only draw back is the last 7 miles are unpaved. The road is gravel and usually in good condition.
We have one dog, Pepper. He is 7 years old and 73 pounds. He was a stray who adopted us. He travels with us in the RV and loves meeting new people. He is one of the most people friendly dogs I have ever known. That said, he is not always dog friendly. Just depends on the dog. If you have a dog, we have always been able to work something out.
I will upload a picture shortly
