Dan was a welcoming host. He helped us get set up and even offered firewood and a fire pit. The boondocker spot has a picnic table and an area to sit and relax in the wooded site. We appreciate Dan's hospitality and give him the highest rating possible.
Site Has Available:
Available most of the time from April 15 until November 1. I don't mind if you are a new member, but if you haven't at least filled out your user profile so I can get an idea of who you are, don't expect much availability :-)
Access Road Conditions
I am on a rural road, but I drive in and out of here with my bus conversion and toad all the time. About 6 miles from Lake Michigan at either Arcadia or Frankfort.
My rural property is nestled between cherry and apple orchards. I have a 70' x 10' gravel pad tucked between a pole barn and the woods, with water and a 30 amp RV outlet. Also have a spot for a smaller RV or trailer in a grassy area at the far end of the property.
Suggested Local Attractions
Point Betsie Lighthouse, Lake Michigan Beach at Frankfort, Downtown Frankfort, Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore (voted the most beautiful place in America).
In A Few Words...
A Little More Detail
I am a 48 year old self-employed sign shop owner. My shop is next door to my house and I have a 70 foot commute. My biggest passion is my bus conversion, which I travel south in every winter for about three months. My pomeranian runs most aspects of my life.
