We had a wonderful, restful overnight on our first boondocking visit. Easy to find, quiet, level, private spot with lovely, friendly hosts! Highly recommended.

In A Few Words...
A Little More Detail
I was born in Prince Edward Island in 1946 and my wife was born in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, in 1948.
I retired from the Royal Canadian Air Force in 2001 after 34 plus years of service. My wife is also retired from the RCAF in 1997. During most of our careers in the military we were posted in Ontario with a short stint in Quebec during the early 70s.
Following retirement we moved to Paris, Ontario, had a beautiful home built but then got itchy feet, sold, bought a truck and a fifth wheel and went fulltime RVing for about two years. We then rented for three years but still travelled extensively throughout North America including two separate tours of Mexico.
We settled in our current home and location, a small village outside of Ottawa, in 2007.
We have one son and a grandson who was born in October, 2014.
My wife loves to prepare gourmet meals, I love to eat, so I have to be deligent and do daily exercises.
Favorite Boondocking Locations
We have boondocked in the US at a few Wal-Marts, as well as at one truck stop. Had trouble sleeping so not recommended for folks who are light sleepers. We also stopped overnight on the Natchez Trace on a couple of occasions. When we did Mexico with a caravan, we boondocked at various locations, such as, at the beach on three occasions, at an amusement park, in a parking lot and the funniest of all, basically a pit with garbage strewn around near Chichen Itza.
