I am a recently retired Interventional Radiologist (Physician) living in Central Wisconsin. My wife, Suzanne, is still working at a Middle School (her choice) and I often travel solo in our Class B RV. She is a Wausau, WI native, while I grew up in Maine. I lived in Houston for Medical school and subsequently in Vermont and Boston for Residency and Fellowship. I worked in Indianapolis and Cincinnati after training, but spent 30 years at the Marshfield Clinic in Wisconsin. Suzanne has lived briefly in Richmond, VA and Milwaukee, but she has spent most of her life in Central Wisconsin. We've been married for 10+ years and have travelled moderately in the US, Canada, and in Europe. I bought a Sprinter Roadtrek E-Trek in 2015 and have about 20K miles of travel in it. We are trading up to an Advanced RV this year for the added amenities and hope to spend more time traveling in the future. We enjoy reading, social networks, HGTV, NASCAR, photography, and family activities.
Wausau, Wisconsin: centrally located in Wisconsin on I-39 at SH-29. There is a county RV park 2 blocks from us down the hill amid the tall pines of Marathon Park. Our drive is sloped, so only limited RV parking is to be had.
