We are now in our second loop around the states! The info below was written during our initial loop, but still applies :)
Shortly before we got married November 10th, 2016, we bought our home on wheels, with the intention of living in our Rialta and traveling full-time, seeking adventure, nature, & new friends.
We left Chicago in early December, narrowly escaping the winters grip, and headed for Florida, where we have some friends and family.
We're heading west from Florida towards the coast, and will eventually loop back to Chicago, regale our friends and family with our tales of the road, and depart once more for the great wide open.
Dashie graduated from Columbia College with a degree in interdisciplinary art. She's currently teaching herself photography and computer programming, honing her digital nomad skills. Dashie has a special interest in lucid dreaming and hopes to create an app that will help train people to lucid dream. In her spare time she loves cooking organic food, dancing for exercise, and jamming on her ukulele.
Shlomo worked in digital marketing for 8 years but his passion is music. Shlomo produces his own music from his computer and loves playing his guitar. Shlomo also loves backgammon, writing, and talking with people about their beliefs and experiences.
We're excited to be on this journey and to have the opportunity to experience it with some of you as well.
Dashie & Shlomo are both musicians, Shlomo plays guitar and writes songs, and Dashie plays a Uke and sings too.
Dashie is a super talented multi-media artist, with great photography and photoshop skills, she majored in fashion design, and is always teaching herself new things. She is now learning how to code IOS (APPLE) apps.
I have some background in e-Commerce, which is basically digital marketing, so setting up a store online.
Dashie is an avid lucid dreamer, always training herself (and myself by proxy) to recognize when she is dreaming, so she can gain awareness and do whatever she wants to during her dream-state. This is very cool stuff, we're excited to be able to share any knowledge and experience about lucid dreaming!
We've taken advantage of the Wildlife & Water Management areas/districts in Florida and their free boondocking opportunities & also met some great Rialta friend in Palatka, Florida & had a mini rally with these wonderful people.
22 FT Winnebago Rialta - Add 3 more feet for our bike rack. It's got some cool modifications from the original layout, and a solar panel.
Dashglow only stayed with us one night. They were quiet, respectful, and friendly. We'd definitely host them again.
Wonderfully interesting couple. Quiet, self-reliant, and independent. It was a pleasure meeting you guys. Enjoy your travels!
Dashglow spent a couple nights with us the end of July. Nice young couple. They are welcome to return again if their travels bring them our direction.
Dashglow were the perfect guests. Lovely, young couple living the dream! Come back and stay with us any time.
We had a very enjoyable visit if only for a short time...Even though they are young and we are on the older side of life, we all gleaned information from each other. It was a delight to host them and they are welcome to stop by any time if in our area. They were our fourth boondocks!
It was fun getting to know and visiting with this young couple. We enjoyed hosting them and wish them the very best in their travels. They are welcome back anytime!
This young couple are clearly self sufficient and know what they are doing. They communicated well, checked in appropriately and had few needs. Definitely recommend them as guests! Have a great trip!
These guys are Well Traveled and enjoying a Trip Of A Lifetime, and good luck to them! They were fully communicative and had no excessive expectations, good Boondockers, recommended. :-)
Nice people - stayed one night - we'd welcome them back anytime!
They drove in and we met them. They spent the night very quietly in our driveway then thanked us this morning and continued on their journey. I wish them both good luck in their travels and hope they come back some day.
