Hosting Windmill was a breeze. He was grateful for the extra night, shared trailer knowledge and was super quiet.... and he brought a big bag of pecans from his own trees!
Great guy! For the little bit of time we talked together! He is welcome whenever he is in the area!
AG stopped by for the night. I didn't get to talk to him as long as I would like but a great and nice guy. Enjoyed talking about flying with him and wish we could have shared a campfire. Maybe next time he comes thru. Certainly glad he stopped in and had a good nights sleep.
Windmill Camp spent one night with us. He was very polite and courteous. He wanted to be sure he was not an inconvenience in any way. We had a very pleasant visit. I would not hesitate to host him again.
A.G. was an incredible host. He was very convivial; and welcoming. We would gladly return whenever we are in the area. A.G. is a very generous and interesting individual because of his background in aviation and equestrian work.. Thanks A.G.!
We found our host AG to be very gracious and a most interesting fellow. If you are looking for a peaceful setting you will find it in his bucolic back pasture. He has quite a bit of local knowledge and is well travelled. After finding our that our next stop was going to be in the Grand Canyon area he gave us so much great information. We also had a minor mishap with our TT during our stay and he was kind enough to introduce us to his RV repair shop so we could get things taken care of. We would definitely enjoy a return visit with this gentleman cowboy.
Enjoyed Windmill Camp's hospitality and conversation. He's a very interesting guy- who is very well traveled. Lots of things to do in the area- cute Camp Verde Main Street, Montezuma's Castle (Puebloan cliff dwelling National Monument ), Chapel of the Holy Cross, and close to Sedona.
