Great Family of 4

To start, this family of 4 arrived at the time they had guessed at and we all know that can be a task in itself. How do you know what you might want to stop and see during the day? They were neat, clean and went out of their way to be respectful of me and my property, also very polite.

We had great conversation around a bonfire. The children had fun exploring my 7 acres as I had told them to feel free to do. The son is writing a fiction book and I was thoroughly amazed at his thought and detail. I felt I could hear and see exactly what he was reading to me, and he was a teenager.

They are welcome back anytime!

Chickens, eggs and art

Our third stay here was as peaceful and welcoming as ever. He is an artist in woodworking and acrylic painting. Impressive! This has become our overnight stop when going to and from the U.P. We look forward to man more stays in the future.

Great spot, easy to find.

This was my first time using Boondockers and it was great. Mark was very cordial.

Chickens and trees and eggs, oh my!

Our second stay here was as wonderful as the first... very friendly, kind, generous, and informative. We were guided to pull up under these giant, long- needle pines...so incredible! Their 43 chickens are all of different breeds with stunning colored feathers. We were able to get a dozen very fresh eggs... already imagining what to stuff the omelet with.

We were delighted to receive a return invitation, which we will take full advantage of.

Friendly host and convenient location

I enjoyed chatting with our host and dreaming about RV travel. There was plenty of space. We backed our trailer next to their out building. Electric hookup was very convenient. Quiet, pretty area. They have a lot of friendly chickens. We did not have our lab with us on this trip. She would have been very curious about the chickens. We did not have any ATT service, but found it at the Grayling high school 5 minutes away. We used the Hartwick Pines dump station 10 minutes away for a $10 fee. Thank you for your hospitality!

Awesome place with Verizon

This host is very kind and welcoming. She even helped direct us around an accident on the highway. We had great cell phone reception and I was able to work from there using my Verizon hotspot. They allowed us to stay for 3 days which was awesome and we were even allowed to purchase some fresh eggs for a steal of a price. ❤️❤️❤️

A Great Stop

Wife and I stayed one night in a quiet, level parking spot. Very nice place to stay with friendly chickens and a couple of dogs too. Even though the location is close to a cell tower, ATT Internet didn't seem to work, but that wasn't a problem as we enjoyed a cool even breeze and a good book !!

A place in the country

Our host greeted us and gave us options of where to park and introduced us to their diverse chicken population. We had a very pleasant and quiet stay under the trees and were on our way early the next morning. They are close to I-75 and to Gaylord and Grayling.

An easy, peaceful stay

We stayed only one night here, but it was easy and peaceful. Our host was there to greet us, and showed us where to park. We had a very nice chat and met their chickens, and the rest of the night was quiet and uneventful. Exactly what we needed after travelling all day. We had to get back on the road the next, but we would definitely stay there again! Thanks for a restful stopover!

Great family

Spent a couple of nights with this host while we explored the area. Enjoyed talking with the hosts and their kids at the campfire each night. Communication was very good and all the information was spot on. Recommended places to eat in area as well. Hoping to visit again when we are back in the area.
