I am 67 years old, grey-haired and overweight. I am a heart patient and suffer from chronic anxiety, both of which have allowed me to collect disability from the Veterans'Administration which helps alot. I don't own an RV yet but will one day. Right now I have a 2011 Dodge Caliber (wagon) with enough room in the back to stretch out,or carry my tent, stove, pillow, sleeping bag and compass. For now, that will have to serve as my "RV". I have two children who are very dependant on my checking account. One works at Boeing in Everett WA and has a significant other who is out of work and my other daughter is a single mom who will always need help unless she is lucky enough to find the right guy. She works at a medical implements factory near where I live in Keene, New Hampshire.
I've been married four times. First wife died of Cancer after 35 years of marriage and 5 children. Things were not good when she died, but sure enough; things got worse. Each marriage after that one turned out horribly. I amcurrently married, but like the other ones, I don't expect this one to last very much longer. I know....be positive. She will have nothing to do with boondockiing, so something has to give before September when my lease is up.
Let's see............I was in the computer business in the Army for half my 26 years and then I moved on to Air Defense Artillery (SHORAD) thinking it would equal faster promotion. It did not, but I still managed to get to Command Sergeant Major before I retired. I then went on to many different jobs from Nurse Assistant/EMT-B and finally to a hospital in Connecticutt for a couple years as Patient Care Technician.
Okay........I guess I have rambled on long enough. I am very anxious get out and try boondocking. Hopefully I will meet you there.
I have some computer skills, and I have way more than the average skills in Emergency Medicine. No licenses any more though.
Don't know yet, but there are vast parts of the USA that I want to see; Grand Canyon, etc. etc.
Dodge Caliber (wagon-like) with tent, stove etc. I hope to get an RV someday.
