Tim has retired four times: public school principal (30 years), charter school principal (10 years), mental health therapist (2 years) and part-time private mental health counseling practice. Cindy has been a stay-at-home mother of five children with the youngest recently finished graduate school. Tim has been a private pilot since 1975, Mr. Fix-it, started several businesses and been involved in the endeavors of our children. Cindy enjoys cooking, gardening, music, genealogy and spoiling nine grandchildren. Both are active in church activities.
Tim has many "hands on" skills, being able to fix/build most anything. He founded several business and is interested in people, having been a licensed professional counselor since 1985 in addition to being a school administrator for more than thirty years. Cindy enjoys cooking, especially baking. She is an accomplished musician (organ, piano, viola, violin and vocalist). She has been gardening and canning for many years.
Northwest Ohio (born and raised), currently lives in Angola Indiana.
Tim converted a 2012 Ford E250 delivery van to a camper/RV. One would describe it as "stealth" because it has no windows and appears more like a cargo van than camper. It does have a solar panel and fantastic fan installed in roof, self-contained.
Was so nice to meet you for the short time we were able to talk. So glad we were able to get things worked out this time. You'll be welcome to stay any time it's available! Enjoy the rest of your trip!
What a treat to see these two traveling together on spring break. I wish all families could be that way.
Next visit we’ll have time to talk!
Both Grandad and granddaughter were very friendly and fine guests. Happy to have them back anytime!
Tim stayed with us just one night. We invited him in for a visit and we had some nice conversation. He was good at letting us know his ETA and responding to texts quickly. Tim is welcome back anytime!
It was a much too short of a stay. We had much in common to discuss - Both my wife and him had school stuff that could spend days on. Only wish the wife could have been here as she seems to have an interest in domes as strong as mine has been - maybe next trip. We hope that we managed to give a proper impression of boondockers welcome as we personally feel that each camper is /can be a friend at least. Really was impressed with the travel vehicle. Please feel welcome again.
