I am a retired Financial Planner and my wife is a retired photographer and teacher. It is just the two of us in our 3rd coach. We have been traveling the country in RV's since 2001 and the world since 1964. We adore music, from classical to Blue Grass and most anything in between. Spare us the loud, vulgar stuff. We love to find museums, the smaller the better and we thrive on fresh fruits and vegetables although I have not given up meat and fish.
Back roads are our favorites although we will take an Interstate if we need to get someplace with a schedule. We don't smoke, but have been known to enjoy a glass of wine at Happy Hour. As RVers and Escapees we make friends easily and are also quite content to have a quiet night in our rig with the drapes closed.
I am reasonably competent at making Windows and Android devices work as they are supposed to and really good at getting tech support to help me. I can fix most anything that can be fixed with basic tools, at least good enough to get to a pro or to get through the night. My wife cooks up a vegetarian storm and is developing her own recipes for her new pressure cooker.
Imperial Dam area on the California side of Colorado River, Quartzite, Our kids driveway in the Blue Ridge, now fitted out with full hookups :) Anyplace along the road that looks safe. Not favorites, but we WalMart and we Flying J and every now and then a rest area that is signed as legal.
We are from Rochester NY with Texas domicile and spend a lot of time in Southern California near Temecula.
36 foot Phaeton with four slideout rooms. we tow a 4 door Jeep Wrangler. We bought the coach new in 2012 and have done a lot of work to keep it up and repair any of the normal dings of use.
The couple “xctraveler’s” stayed one night with us. They were a delightful couple and we enjoyed their company and conversation. They were very polite and courteous. I would not hesitate to have them stay with us again and would recommend them to other hosts.
