My husband & I have been RVing FT now for almost 3 years.
We are both retired now.
I was an RN for over 35 years, before taking an early retirement @ 55.
My husband retired after working as a contractor in Iraq for 5 years. His job was escorting the troops to the firefight.
We bought a ranch, had horses, & raised cattle.
After 3 1/2 years we sold everything,& bought our 1st 5th wheel, & hit the road.
March 29,2017, we traded our 40' 5th wheel in for a 25' Winnebago "View". Life is so much simpler now!
We have traveled FT for the past 2 1/2 years in 3 different 40' 5th wheels.
The end of March we made the switch to a 25' Winnebago "View".
We both have learned so much,& feel we have many words of wisdom to offer for anyone thinking about rv'ing.
Enjoyable travels with our 5th wheel, have been , Colorado National Park, Yellowstone,& Glacier National Park.
Our 1st Boondocking experience with our new Winnebago"View", was staying with Larry, in Alva along the Callosahatche River. <emoji><emoji>
CA & my husband is from MI. We last lived about 45 minutes North of the Dallas-FortWorth area. We had a small ranch, with horses & cattle.
The end of March 2017, we traded our 40' DRV Mobile Suites, for a 25' Winnebago "View". Love the way we can get in & out of places now, that we couldn't before!
