The hosts could not have been more welcoming! We had a really fun NEW YEARS EVE! Our thanks and best wishes.
A nice little winery to visit. Like a lot of New Mexico, if you have fur babies there are a lot of sand spurs so you will be constantly picking them off of your shoes and out of there paws.
Lots of room near a major highway. Good place to change a tire from screw that we must have driven on before got there, glad we had a good place off the road to change it. Nice friendly place, lots of good food and drinks available.
Answered my same-day request right away, which was great because I had only intermittent cell service to check. Too bad for me, I didn't arrive till just as they were closing, but was greeted and told I could "park anywhere." There is a very large, flat gravel area in front of and to side of building. There are several amber lights on poles, made the area feel secure and didn't interfere with sleeping. Nor did occasional vehicle on nearby roadway. I had to be on my way before they opened at noon the next day, but hope to make a more timely stop in the future to sample their wares!
Our hosts were very kind and considerate from the moment we arrived. We also enjoyed a great local beer and some laughs. Thanks for having us!
We only stayed one night because of time constraints on our way to Carlsbad Caverns. Our hosts were quite gracious and welcoming. We had a glass of their white wine which was very good and bought a bottle to watch the sunset with out on the patio table and chairs. The area to park is very large and we didn't have a problem with our RV and tow either coming in or leaving in the morning. We would certainly stay here again should we be in the area.
