We camp on a 3 1/2 acre (mostly cleared) shore lot overlooking the beautiful Miramichi River just east of the city limits of the City of Miramichi, New Brunswick (Postal Code E1V7C9) at Lower Newcastle. The drive into the lot is paved, 1000 ft of Route 11 with one sharp turn but very negotiable. Last year we drilled a well and expect to have water this summer. Power and sewage to follow shortly. We are between the City of Miramichi and Neguac, the entrance to the Acadian Peninsula on Route 11 North.

The City of Miramichi is called the City of Festivals including the Irish festival, Miramichi Revival, the Scottish Festival, Rock and Roll (Canada Day) Festival, Tall Ships and many more. Checkout Miramichi.org

Gorgeous and peaceful location.

Our children were enthralled with all the jellyfish. And our hosts provided wonderful recommendations to local fare

Lovely Stay

We had a great stay here for two nights. A prime rural location on the shore of a river. Our hosts were very friendly and generous with their hospitality. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful spt

We had a great 2 night stay camping less than 200 feet from the
Miramichi Bay. Such a beautiful spot, view was great, well maintained, lots of space, great fire pit. Had a wonderful time! Hosts were friendly.
We would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Beautiful Spot

Great large manicured lot beside the Miramichi river in New Brunswick. We only met our hosts once but they were nice.
Directions to the property could have been a bit better as it has no civic address GPS coordinates are wrong. A distance from a town marker to the white posts would make finding the property easier.
All in all a great place and great time.
We camped with our truck and trailer with two other groups Sept. 18 & 19 2017
Thanks so much

One of the best

We stayed 2 nights, Sept 18 & 19. Exceptional property right on the Miramichi Bay with lots of wide open space. Beautiful view from the cleared grassy yard. A couple of wooden decks provided great sitting places for our group. And a wonderful fire pit that we enjoyed immensely. Stairs leading down to the waters edge provided easy access. Sharon and Livain were gracious and informative. Thank you

Very nice

Parked a hundred feet from the river in this beautiful location. Very quiet at night and we made a small fire in their ring.

Our first night in Canada and this will be hard to top.

Even though they are not here they welcomed us to stay...so glad we did!

Thanks

A beautiful place

We sent them a Message to see if we could stay. They were on a trip, but allowed us to stay on their property close to the river. A big grassy open area with firepit, and not hard to find.
Thanks for that great place and stay, we had a wonderful quiet night.
