We are Ross and Heather! We are a young, energetic couple (30 and 27) embarking on a road trip across the US and Canada! We have recently quit our jobs working on board private yachts to take a few months out to do a trip we have talked about for a long time. Heather and I met on a yacht we were working on together in 2013, after almost 4 years working at sea together we have decided to embark on the adventure of a lifetime before heading to land and getting back to reality!

Skills & Expertise to Share

I am a culinary trained chef and have spent the last few years working as a private chef on yachts...

rossmacdonald87's Hometown

I am from Brentwood Bay, just outside of Victoria, B.C, Canada on the south point of Vancouver Island. Vancouver island is full of lakes, mountains and outdoor adventure, and I would recommend anyone to come and explore. Heather is from the south of England in the county of Devon, right on the south coast in a town called Salcombe. A peaceful beach town with great coastal walks and little beach cafe's. Great fishing and crabbing as it used to be a fishing village.

rossmacdonald87's Rig

Our rig is named Roy!!! Named after the previous owner who really loved it. It is a 20 foot fifth wheeler built in 1994 which is the perfect size for two of us. No slide outs, with all the amenities.

Fun team, welcome back anytime.

We enjoyed having this couple stop by the "farm". They had some great stories they shared about their jobs at sea. They were friendly and supported our egg business. Hope to cross paths again one day. They are welcome back anytime!!

Delightful guests

We enjoyed our first Boondocking guests very much. They are off on a trip around the US and I'm sure they will have a great adventure. We'd be happy to welcome them again.
