We are a married couple of ~10 years that love to travel and explore in our spare time in our truck camper (cassette toilet). Quiet, early to bed/early to rise. Avoiding using a generator at all costs.
We typically boondock on BLM or Forest Service land but are interested in using this site to do some more urban/suburban camping or farm stays and exploring on our bicycles or on foot while our truck/camper stay put (and maybe recharge the camper batteries: we haven't invested in a solar panel yet!).
We mountain bike, road bike (neither of which we're any good at!) and generally just explore the West. We're laid back: interested in good restaurants and exploring towns and cities now too.
We used to be tent campers but love the luxury of a fridge/freezer/solid roof over our heads and are completely converted to pop up truck camping.
Husband does enjoy a cigar once in awhile while camping but of course will respect and not do it if you find it too stinky (like the wife does!).
2005 Ford F250 4WD with a 2017 (yippee! our first brand new one: delivery is in April 2017!) Hallmark Guanella pop up truck camper. No slideouts, currently not even an awning, though plan to get one at some point.
