We retired to northern Michigan from southeastern Michigan three years ago. We live 20 miles from Lake Michigan near three beautiful rivers. We live in a National Forest 30 miles from the nearest freeway. We love nature, photography, hiking, exploring, mushrooms and lichens and other outdoor pursuits. We also ride motorcycles. We love animals. We have at this time three small elderly dogs which may travel with us, although we may only take one or none at times as well. We love peace and quiet but enjoy meeting new people also. We respect others privacy and property and drink very occasionally and do not smoke.

As of today, 3/2017, we have a 19 foot 2008 Funfinder 189fbr travel trailer. We had been pulling it with a Jeep Liberty. But we recently purchased a Chevy Silverado 2500 HD so we may be looking for a larger RV under 30'. We will edit our profile when that happens. Eventually we may be going full time. We did that for 11 months in 1990.
