We are Jeff and Debbie Wyatt. After 43 years of child raising we downsized ourselves to a small condo so that we could enjoy a traveling lifestyle on our budget. We have traveled quite a bit together and independently over the past 40 yrs.Over the past 10 yrs we used couch surfing as a travel aid. We have also hosted couch surfers when we had a large home. That worked so well we figure Boondockers Welcome is a next logical step.We have been traveling in our high top van from our home state MN and just now bought a Gulf Stream travel trailer to tow behind our van.Since we plan on being on the road 6 to 9 months yearly the added comfort of the trailer will be welcomed. After all we are ElderBees.
Jan of 2017 we left MN and headed south to Texas then east to Florida. With great stops in between. We followed the coastline staying as close as possible to the water. (now that we have a TT) Our trusty van could get us up close and personal...But a larger rig may be a challenge for us.
Jeff and I are open, we like to laugh and like meeting people. We like to be adventurous. We like spicy food, cold beer, camp fires and good conversation. An update to our site here; we know have a Roadtrek. We found we like to pick up an move more than hunker down for any length of time.
We do not have pets pets.
Right now we are boondocking in FL in our friend Kathy's yard. We have been here for almost a month. At other times we did our boondocking (last yr) in the Hill Country at Jeff's cousin's place. We went on to stay (boondocking) with relatives and friends in Tucson AZ, Mesa Az and San Diego Ca. All places are our favs! It is hard to choose.
Shoreview MN is our home town.
1995 Chevy 210 Roadtrek.
Great having them here. They are always welcomed back.
Traveling ElderBees are very cool people! i'm very glad I had the chance to meet them but sorry i really didn't get to spend much time getting to know them....but as I said new friends have become old friends....you'll immediately like them...they're friendly, polite and enjoyable to have around. I surely hope to see them again....
