My wife and I are on the front side of the 50's. We enjoy traveling together and are looking forward to our retirement years and spending them on the road. I have been to 48 of the 50 states; just lack Alaska and Hawaii. I am a published nature photographer and like to share images with our hosts/guests. We look forward to being your host and thank you in advance for considering us as guests.
We do not have pets

What a fun expeience. Mark and Teresa came exactly as planned. They were very quiet and were self sufficient In all ways. We enjoyed a tour of their new but vintage camper which was beautifully deorated by Teresa.
We were able to spend some quality time with them on Saturday over our dinner and a bottle of wine. We had much in common and we plan to visit them on our next time biking near their town. A+ visit!
We were sad we had such a quick stay, because this was a cute campsite! The Halloween decorations filled the yard and really set the tone for a fun fall stay. We loved the view of the changing trees and golden cornfield from our windows. We really enjoyed walking through the paths in the woods as the leaves crunched under my feet, and walking around the fields. It was almost like having an easy little corn maze all to ourselves!
The nearby town of Centerville is very cute. I recommend spending an afternoon there. Check out the antique shops and restaurants. Very classic "Smalltown, USA."
The hosts were very friendly. We didn't get to visit much, but I could tell we would have had great conversations. This spot is close to home, so we're hoping we get to visit again!
Just a little note. I had fine phone service with Verizon, but my husband had none with Sprint - just in case you need internet for work.
Great stay! Super nice host who even waited up late for us to get in. Great apple cider too! Thanks!!
They met us with a couple of bottles of cool home-made cider. Yum, yum, just the refreshment we needed for a long day on the road. Aplogize for not visiting as much as normal, but arrived late and had to fix a couple of things on our rig before dark. Our host was quick to help and find some needed tools for my make-shift repair. Anyway, beautiful star-filled sky and a quiet peaceful setting with nice folks. Thanks much for the kind gestures. Lazy farmer
I came in around 7:30, and Mark and Teresa greeted me with a refreshing bottle of apple cider, and helped me to hook up my camper. After I settled in, we met outside around the fire pit and I played them with a few of my original tunes. They graciously agreed to let me stay an extra night so I could just get some rest.
Beautiful, peaceful, surrounded by corn fields with the feeling of Early Autumn setting in! Mark texted me in the morning with directions and recommendations for the nearby town of Richmond.
They we so kind. We had to arrive late. and he was outside with a flash light to guide us in and hook us up. So kind and helpful. They even gave us pressed cider from their last years crop. It was so good. Best cider I have had in years.
Thank you so much for letting us stay.
These hosts were very kind. I enjoyed parking out in the middle of farm land. It was very quiet and dark for stargazing. They were very attentive to help me get into the parking spot and set up ok.
Had a wonderful time with the mcampbells65. They were very accommodating and helpful. Enjoyed having a drink and chatting with them. Love the apple cider!! Would stop by here again.
We really enjoyed staying at mcampbell65 place! they are an amazing hosters and people!
The great experiences we had with them are going to stay with us forever, and gonna be very hard to re-produce :)
We have amazing time. The hosts Very attentive at all times, they gave us authorization to walk throughout the farm. The Farm it’s so quiet & peaceful , I would have liked to stay a little longer But we had to continue traveling. I hope someday to visit them again because they were very kind people to us.
Thank you very much for everything :)
it was a pleasure to be yours guest!
Thanks both of you for your kindness, your hospitaly in this period of time...beautiful and peaceful place in the country. We will come back. Thanks for all your treats. All these very excellent. We are back home and hope to see you in Canada or Arizona.
We enjoyed our stay at this peaceful setting out in the country. With our very gracious hosts. Thank you for making our first experience with Boondockers Welcome a good one!
mcampbell65 were such lovely hosts! We contacted them very last minute; and even though they had a busy evening of prior commitments, they accepted our request and gave us a warm welcome.
We were able to quickly set up, make dinner, and enjoy some time in our lawn chairs enjoying their beautiful country setting.
It was a hot evening and they graciously offered us a power hook up. To top it off, they gave us a gift of their yummy cider!!
A huge thank you to these hosts!
PS: The early morning correspondence on how to get around the traffic was awesome and worked out perfectly!
The Campbells made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, offering us use of electric and water, some amazing homemade cider, and an invitation to visit by the campfire after dinner. Their orchard and farm are beautiful, the area safe and quiet, and the conversation engaging. We had much in common and talked at length around the fire: about our interests, our travels, and our life experiences. We were sorry to have to leave the next morning. We will definitely stop next time we pass this way and hope to get a chance to view some of M's photography. The Csmpbells are a lovely couple and very gracious hosts. We highly recommend boondocking at The Clan Campbell Farm and Orchard.
These hosts are the very best. I enjoyed every minute that I got to spend with them. The hostess's dad was there and what a wonderful conversationalist he is. Among all of us, through the evening, the conversation meandered from fishing to rattlesnake bites to REM sleep disorder to riding bicycles to making apple cider to grandchildren and a lot more. I would go back again just for more such conversations.
When you arrive at this location, do expect to be ‘spoiled’ by these hosts. They accommodate you with electrical and water hookups, a pint of their own hand-pressed cider, a roaring campfire and, if the timing is right, a plate of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. These people really know the area well and answered every one of our questions. It’s easy to feel their love of hosting traveling RVers. Conversations around the campfire with them and another BW couple were informative and interesting.
We strongly urge you to consider Clan Campbell Farms & Orchard. You’ll be happy you did!

Homesteader hospitality! Wonderful stay sharing campfire, orchard conversation and exquisite apple cider.
We sat sipping home made hard cider on a glider overlooking the fields and near by woods, as we chatted into the evening with our gracious hosts. As an extra we were given some fresh picked asparagus to enjoy with our evening meal. Wow, what a lovely first for us using the Boondockers Welcome site. We had both water and electric hook up as well as were able to access a dump site. Our talented, professional hosts were helpful in every way possible. An A++ for these new friends
What a lovely stay at Clan Campbell Farm & Orchard! You can watch the sunset and rise from their yard. Peaceful, lots of walking trails, and electricity and water! Mark & Teresa are really nice and shared some of their pressed apple cider with us. It was very tasty. We appreciated our chats, directions, and ideas about where to go. Thanks so much! My hosts were amazing. Very accommodating and helpful. Had full 30amp elec and water. Walked their property with my dog on nice mowed trails.
And they gave me a gift of hand pressed apple cider. It is delicious.
I am now going to be friends on fb and stay in touch.
Great first experience.
Slept so well. They were so hospitable. Want to return every year when we visit our parents.
Great stay at the Campbell's. Good 30 amp hookup. Would stay again in a heartbeat. How about next year
M and his wife were very accommodating and generous. As their first guest I enjoyed visiting and sharing about travels.
They have a nice country setting and is reasonably quiet. Using the available electricity I was able to not freeze in early March. After leaving their place I visited the Model T Museum nearby in Richmond, Indiana. Thanks again. JG
