We are English, Ian is 64 and Linda is 62. One daughter in the UK and one in Canada. Four wonderful grandchildren, lovely to spoil and then leave their parents to bring up whilst we enjoy life!!!! Now if only we had known the saying "have the grandchildren first"! Mind you, would not have had it any other way. Our girls, son in laws and grandchildren are a delight and we are so proud they are all ours.
We are both retired now having worked in accounts offices during our working life, sold our house in the UK and started our travels by renting a home in the Axaquira region of southern Spain - east of Malaga in the Costa Del Sol - for the past year. The weather has been lovely, we have made lots of new friends and done a lot of sightseeing.
Ian has taken up golf, does not play that well, but has a good time anyway with other members of the club! And I have taken up sewing and quilting which I am thoroughly enjoying and belong to two ladies sewing groups. Good fun.
But we now want to travel further rather than stay in just one place.
Having now bought an RV with the help of our Canadian daughter doing the investigating and leg work for us, we are planning to come over to Canada and the USA each year for up to six months at a time and to travel round and live the RV life.
We are friendly, enjoy meeting new people and looking forward to some good times ahead with other RVer's out there!
Ian quite good at computer stuff - as for Linda, not much use at cooking but can sew!
Haven't travelled at the time of writing this.
Planning to travel through Montana, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, British Columbia and Alberta on our first trip over this year, starting in May.
Harwell, Oxfordshire and Puente Don Manuel, Spain

I feel so sorry for this couple, they sent messages way ahead of time to stay at our house, but their RV kept breaking down and they got so far behind in their itinerary that they had to pass us by. No problem, and really nice on emails. Hope to get to meet them on their next trip this way.
Ian and Linda, absolute hoot to be around, they arrived and within minutes the ladies were gone to a quilt store, we stopped by our Local BBQ place and the enjoyed one of our favorite places to eat, hearing all the stories about there journey and overseas excursions was very interesting and we cant wait to see them again next year. And hopefully one day see them in Spain.
Ian & Linda spent two nites with me after encountering truck issues while traveling here. Very nice & fun couple from 'across the pond'. We had a most enjoyable time. Enjoyed some local sightseeing. Enjoyed Linda's cooking. Much conversation. Fun learning about the others differences. Look forward to the possibility of a visit next summer.
We had fun with this couple from England. Both are full of laughs.. We already had 2 other units here, but we found room for them... Everyone got along fine... We all had some "English" lessons... While much of the language is the same, meanings can often differ... These folks will have fun here on the continent. We wish them well on their journey..
