Welcome to our boondocking site and we truly look forward to meeting you! We are excited to be involved with this great group of fellow RVers.
Kevin is recently retired from a 30-year career as a fire captain for the city of Chehalis. Julie is a stay-at-home mom/wife. Together we have operated a wildland firefighting suppression business which we retired from after the 2019 season.
We enjoy RVing and are looking forward to many travels around the United States.
Our first serious traveling adventure on the road was the year we graduated from college (Yay WSU Cougs!) and we hit the road in our pickup and camper. 2 1/2 months and 48 states later we were back in WA and working at our jobs. We have since hit the other two states. Over 30 years and a career later we are looking forward to traveling more in our retirement. We are now looking forward to really experiencing the awesome sights our country has to offer at a more leisurely pace.
If you have minor repairs to be made or maintenance you need to do on your RV we may be able to help out. We have a well equipped shop and are more than happy to help a fellow RVer out with minor repairs. We have full sets of tools, welders, cutting torches and woodworking tools.
No pets at this time so we are more free for travel but pets are welcome at our Boondockerswelcome site.
South in the sunshine! We have had some great travels in the south but we also have many beautiful and enjoyable state parks in WA that we enjoy.
Chehalis is our nearby town with a population of 7000. A few miles from our home is a WalMart, Home Depot as well as all the other stores downtown. We also have a couple of RV stores nearby if you should need anything from there.
2014 32' Arctic Fox that we tow with our 2017 Ram 2500.
We had the pleasure of briefly meeting Kevin while he was in the area. Wished we had a chance to chat more, maybe next time😎
Really enjoyed meeting these two. They are very pleasant people. It was fun to talk to another Boondocker host. They were our first guests who also host. They were excellent guests and are welcome back any time.
Fantastic couple, great stories, welcome anytime! Safe travels :-)
Loved sharing stories and conversation on the patio. New Mexico weather is starting to cooperate.
Enjoyed having them here on the farm. Looking forward to having them visit again and wishing them many safe travels!!
Lovely folks! Had a nice chat fireside on the patio with cups of coffee and tea to take off the chill. Welcome anytime to continue our conversations!
Thank you for staying with us, it was a pleasure having you as our RV guest.
Thank you for the nice gift I really injoyed it.
We will definitely try and stay at your place if we make it over there.
It was enjoyable to meet and host Kevin and Julie, they relaxed and enjoyed the sunshine here in Selah. It was so much fun to meet them and have them stay with us. Funny thing, while they were here they got to meet some Boondockers that they were going to be hosting at their home next - small and wonderful world. Hope to see them again!
We enjoyed sharing stories with Kevin and Julie.
Hope to see them again.
I informed them that we would be out of town and the only indication we saw that they may have been here was a turn around path on our drive. They must have been very tidy! It was great to have them as we had stayed at their lovely site in Chehalsis WA
They arrived, settled in and left. They left early the next morning, so we never saw them except when they arrived.
We have to say they were really quite
Had a great visit. Interesting couple. Enjoy your trip. Welcome any time.
We enjoyed hosting Kevin & Julie as Boondockers at our home. They were friendly, and Kevin took the time to share information regarding his business with our son. They came to our door to let us know they were leaving the following day and even gave us a chocolate mint candy bar from the area they live in. We would gladly host them again!
Kevin and Julie stayed with me in Tucson one night while on their way back North to their home in Chehalis Washington from Galveston Texas where they were helping with their church to rebuild homes that were damaged or lost due to the recent hurricane. They are so friendly and fun to converse with. They have a brand new beautiful 5th-wheel which really prettied up my parking spot. I hope to see them again in the future for a longer stay and perhaps boondock at their property someday.
We really enjoyed the evening with Kevin and Julie. It is always interesting to visit with people from another area of the world to peek into how they live. This couple was easy to talk to and very interesting. I'm confident anyone hosting this couple will enjoy their company.
This is our third time staying at Kevin and Julie's. Great accommodations and East to get to from I-5. We finally got to meet them and had a good chat.
We enjoyed being guests at Kevin and Julie’s home. It was a spectacular property where we had hookups for power and water. It was so nice. We even saw some deer one evening. Their place was located close by things to see and do but also very secluded. Thanks to our hosts for a wonderful experience. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone! Enjoyed it very much!
Great directions. Friendly greeting and offer of assistance. Spacious level sites, some with water and electric. Easy for our 39’ Motorhome.
We have stayed with Kevin and Julie multiple times and each stay has been wonderful. They are very generous with their lovely property. There are multiple spots to park and a large secluded area for group and/or tent camping. The property is easy to access. We have a 40' Class A with a toad and can easily move around after we unhitch. There is a gas station right before turning off to their property to unhitch or hitch up. It is perfect and we can't wait for a return visit.
Thanks again for allowing us to stay....see ya in the spring.
For all who are readying this....stay healthy and safe. Happy Trails!
2nd time staying here, Kevin and Julie have a great property and have a kind heart. Quiet and peaceful location. Definitely a great place to stay if in the area!
K and J were extremely friendly and accommodating. We loved staying at their property and chatting with them. We stayed in their field with no hookups and had no problem getting sun for our solar. We loved staying and will definitely come back again.
Nice visit with our hosts and other boondockers, would definitely stay here again. Thank you!
Julie and Kevin have made their home into a destination! We were greeted upon arrival, directed to our level parking spot, and after friendly conversation, allowed to relax in the beautiful setting. They have a boondocker welcome center, with a Dropbox for an electricity donation, and pamphlets about the area. They have several boondocking spots available, three of which were taken during our stay. They are all spaced nicely, with trees a bountiful vegetable garden and a mowed field. I walked the 1/4 mile trail through the woods on their property several times. Lots of birds, and a rooster somewhere near by. Very quiet and peaceful night.
Kevin and Julie hosted a Boondocker get together on their porch in the evening. This will definitely be a spot we come back to, hopefully for future kayaking in the area.Kevin and Julie were great hosts, and wonderful people, who believe in giving back. Thank you so much! It was great meeting you!
We had a lovely stay, Momma deer with 2 Bami's in the morning. Blue sky with fall leaves changing. Wonderful stay with wonderful host's.
Our second visit was just as awesome as the first! We brought a couple of tents and a bunch of grandkids, and had a blast over the labor day weekend. Weather conditions prohibited a campfire, but that would have just been icing on on top of an already awesome cake.
There was plenty of room for the kids to run and play, a trail for them to explore through the woods, and our host even stopped by in. a little mini-fire truck and took the kids for a ride!
We definitely look forward to coming back again.
This was our 1st boondocking experience and it was awesome! We did not even have to use any blocks everything was super level. Easy to find, great location, super quiet. Host was super friendly just an overall great experience.
Julie and Kevin are very gracious with allowing people to use part of their homestead for people to stay. The site was wonderful graveled area. Very level. Loved being able to speak to others with more experience with full time living. Would highly recommend to stay with Kevin and Julie!
I suppose there’s good reason over 300 RV’s have stayed here. It’s great.
We made a huge mistake staying here for our first ever boondocking experience, because no other site is going to compare. the host responded quickly to messages and was helpful every time. We stayed at his ‘primitive’ site, which was so idyllic I could honestly live there happily. It was a clearing surrounded by tall trees, with a great little loop trail going through the woods - just long enough to make my two kids tired, not long enough that they make me carry them. We must have done that trail four times a day. On our last full day there we kept getting small, short downpours of rain, which made us nervous (as newbies to boondocking and RVing) about being able to get out of the site. Our host was confident the rain would be short lived, but worked with our worries by moving us up to one of his gravel sites for that last night. I am not ashamed to admit, he was 100% correct, and the rain didn’t return. Our kids played on his playground so many times, and they were sad to leave. It was a truly awesome experience staying at this site, and we hope to be seeing thus beautiful property again soon.
We had a great time meeting our hosts as well as other guests at a BW social that the hosts held for everyone. Convenient location right off of the highway with many spots, some with electric and water hookup, close to trails and just a short drive to many parks with hiking, biking, and paddle boarding. We also appreciated all of the literature on local trails, farms, lakes, etc that our awesome hosts provided!
What nice people and a brilliant set up!! They took us in last minute and couldn’t have been nicer about it. Their spaces are all equally flat and on different sides of the building so you have tons of privacy. A Farm across the street provides beautiful ambiance (as does the hosts’ yard)!
The hosts were very considerate and welcoming. We stayed in site #3 and it was level and the perfect size for our 21 ft class b RV. It was very quiet and there was plenty of space to walk a dog and not interfere with other guests. So grateful this host is a part of Boondockers Welcome! Would definitely stay again.
There's no way I can describe our stay at Kevin and Julie's any better than all of the other posts. On a scale of 1-10 it's an 11.
We had an amazing stay with Kevin and July. They are so kind and their property is beautiful. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. We have four kids and our kids loved Kevin. I completely recommend a stay at their place. We hope visit them again.
Lovely place in Chehalis, WA. We had site #2 with water and electricity. Kevin greeted us when we arrived and was very friendly and welcoming. Julie was also friendly and welcoming! We had a little get together with the other campers on the patio and enjoyed homemade blackberry cake with whipped cream! Yummy! Would definitely stay again!
An absolutely amazing spot. Beautiful property and a level place to park. Amazing hosts who went out of their way to make us feel welcome and make sure the kids enjoyed their time as well.
Kevin and Julie are great hosts. They have a ton of room on their property and it is in a convenient location. Quiet and got to see several deer on the property. Loved hearing about Kevin's experience as a fireman, the kids especially loved it! Our Verizon phone could make calls but had no data at all. I heard from others that other carriers worked though.
Exactly what you hope for in a Boondocker's Welcome experience. Thank you :)
We had a wonderful stay here!
The hosts were super friendly, we got to have a chat with them for a while and hear about all the fun they have hosting so many Boondockers through their journeys.
The property is gorgeous with nice easy access and plenty of area to maneuver and park our 35’ 5th wheel. Very quiet and peaceful.
T-Mobile signal was good, Verizon is iffy.
Stayed for three nights, using the location as a home base for mountain biking in the Capitol State Forest (which has excellent riding!)
Only met the host (Kevin) briefly but enjoyed the conversation and very much appreciated the generosity and hospitality they bestow on us boondockers! There are quite a few spots on property, several with water and power so I did take advantage of filling my fresh water tank. BTW, the water tastes excellent! (As advertised, Verizon doesn't work at this location)
Thank you for providing this traveler with a fantastic place to lay his head on the road!
Kevin is a great host. They have a beautiful property and nice open spaces. We enjoyed our first Boondockers Welcome stay. We would definitely stay here again when we are in the area.
Upon arrival, Kevin met with us to make sure we knew where to park. He showed us spot #3 which had water and 30 amp service! We did use some appliances that he requested a nominal fee for ($5.00 per day). Even though there were many other guests on the property, it was very quiet yet close to town. We appreciate this host very much!
Beautiful property and super nice hosts. Looking forward to staying again and being able to visit more.
Thank you! Vic and Kim
Lovely spot with several sites and a lovely little walking trail through the forest! Very quiet
Our hosts were very kind and flexible with our stay! We loved the forest trail in the back of the yard - especially our dog. And the wifi was a great bonus since our cell service (Verizon) didn’t do well in the area. Thanks for a great stay!
Kevin and Julie are wonderful hosts! We had a lovely site with 30 amp power and water to enjoy for two peaceful nights! It was hot during our stay so we didn’t go to a music festival that was happening locally, but we enjoyed the lovely space and quiet of Kevin and Julie’s property with our AC on in our fifth wheel. We loved it there! We saw deer each day :). We hop to come stay again in the future, if they’ll have us!
Kevin And Julie’s Host Location was the perfect retreat for us to rest and relax before we start our trek back toward Georgia. We took an early morning walk on the pathway through the woods behind their house. It was enchanting. And, the shaded country road beside their place is a great place to take an afternoon stroll. It is easy to see why this is such a popular place to stop over.
Chehalis is nearby, and there are a couple of museums in town that you might be interested in.
There are some great places to dine, such as Jermy’s Farm to Table. Baydo’s RV Sales (which is close by) has a dump station that only charges $1.00 to dump and the dumping is free if you purchase something from their RV store. Their propane was only $1.99/gallon.
With the temperatures in the high 90s it was great having shore power to run our air conditioner.
We hope that Kevin and Julie’s travels will someday bring them through Georgia so that we can return the favor and host them for a while. If not maybe we will meet up on the highway someday.
This was our first stay at Boondockers Welcome host. We are Harvest Host members as well but find we don't use the membership much due to our big rig size (40ft). Staying at a fellow RVer, made us more confident in our abilities to be able to maneuver a big rig into a Boondocker Welcome spot.
Kevin and Julie have worked very hard on their property to not only be welcoming but to be able to accommodate several guests at once! Kevin greeted us when we arrived. He showed us exactly where to park which was an easy spot to back into. We had water and 30amp hookup which is a real bonus (we gave a donation for use of utilities).
Later in the evening, Kevin and Julie invited us to a fireside chat to meet the other boondockers (three of us stayed total). We enjoyed this evening of fellowship tremendously!
Kevin and Julie have a beautiful property with plenty of room in the backfield for kids and dogs to run. My kids were overjoyed they have a "playground" (swingset playhouse) they allow kids to use. The location is convenient for sightseeing too.
WE can see why Kevin and Julie are some of the most frequented hosts in all of Boondockers Welcome. We were blessed during our stay and look forward to seeing new friends on the road!
We really enjoyed our stay at Kevin and Julie's place just outside of Chehalis. They were very accommodating, with Kevin even coaching me on my (lack of) good trailer backing up skills to get situated in our designated site. In the evening we had a very nice social gathering, telling stories and learning about all the amazing and interesting lives of not only Kevin and Julie, but the other Boondockers staying there as well. We will definitely stay here again--if they'll have us 😉.
Kevin and Julie once again hosted us for a 3rd time. This absolutely the go to place for Boondockers Welcome and just a wonderful place. They grounds are gorgeous, lots of room for pets and kids. I can’t recommend enough.
Gravel, level, easy in and out, electric and water right there! The host came over and introduced himself when he got home a couple of hours after I was in the spot he told me to take. Sent me a pic of the lot with 3 parking spots indicated, it was easy to find my place! Beautiful property, a mama and fawn visited in the evening!
This was our first Boondockers stay and it was an amazing experience. Kevin and Julie invited us (and others camped there) to come up to their patio for an evening visit. Julie made an amazing blackberry cobbler! There property is far enough off I5 you cannot hear the noise, but not so far to be out of the way. We would love to visit here again if our travels bring us their way!
Kevin and Julie's place was perfect for us after 2 months of boondocking without utilities. They placed us in site #2 which had power and water hookups and it was so nice to have them again. We stayed 5 peaceful nights there. A few other campers left the day after we arrived and then more came in and stayed in other sites on the property. Our host's yard is beautifully manicured with a lush green lawn and veggie and flower gardens. They invited all the guests to a get together on their patio one evening where we got to meet everyone else and share our travel stories. Kevin was a big help to us in troubleshooting a problem we had with the RV. We truly appreciate their kindness and generosity as Boondockers Welcome hosts and hope to cross paths with them again someday. If you ever find yourself in this part of Washington you won't regret requesting a stay with them. Thanks again!
This was our first experience with Boondockers Welcome, and I am not sure how our stay could have been better! These hosts were excellent ambassadors for the concept. Prior to our arrival, communication from our hosts was clear and complete. Directions to the location were detailed and accurate. We found our site with no trouble and completely fell in love with the space.
The site we were assigned was spacious and level, and super private. We were able to park in a spot which had shade through much of the day, so we were able to avoid running the generator for the AC most of the time. The hosts allow the use of their WiFi, but the signal doesn't reach to the back of the property where our site was located. This wasn't a problem for us, as we were able to use our cell phones for internet when we needed, but for those who need to be connected, you might want to ask for a spot nearer to the front. We were told that T-Mobile and AT&T had good coverage there, but we don't use either of those. we found Sprint worked great, but Verizon was spotty and nearly unusable.
Our hosts also invited us to a backyard get-together with the other campers one evening. As much as we enjoy our alone-time, we had a great time sitting and visiting with folks from around the country.
We are definitely planning to come back and visit again!
It’s was such a beautiful spot! After a week of driving every day from Colorado the spot was the perfect place to rest for a few days. I set up in the very back meadow without any hook ups and it was a little paradise! Would definitely recommend!
Kevin and Julie are the consummate hosts. They are truly devoted to providing BDW travelers with the best possible experience. They have provided 5 available spaces, 3 with water and electric! The spots are level and access is easy (near Rt. 5). This was one of our best BDW stays.
Thank you K & J 😀
Kevin met me in the drive way then directed me to my spot. Very friendly. Very quiet.....I highly recommend.
Lovely homestead and gracious hosts! Sites are easily accessible even for my 45’ 5r. Boondocking setup is great with power and water. Hope to stop in in the future.
Kevin and Julie are amazing! Good people who are great to visit with. Our social meet and greet with the other boondockers was so much fun! Their property is beautiful and big rig friendly. We had more than enough room to maneuver our 40' Class A. Deer just walk through the property. We highly recommend and we would definitely return. Thank you for the garden fresh lettuce!
My favorite BW spot so far! Enjoyed meeting other Boondockers, got to see the deer! So peaceful! And was able to top off my water on the way out.
Thank you Kevin for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful property. I will definitely return!! 💖
We stayed for 5 nights. It was peaceful and a great location. There were a few other campers there and the hosts invited everyone around the fire-less fire pit (all the fire bans). We met a few other really nice campers and throughly enjoyed our host and hostess. They gave local attraction and restaurant recommendations. Very hospitable and just plain nice folks.
We had a really nice two nights, and met all the other RVers staying there. Wonderful hosts. We'll definitely stay here again when we are in the area.
We were traveling through the area and needed a spot to rest for a few days. They provided a very peaceful setting for us and loved meeting them and the other boondockers staying there. Thank you so much!
The directions that the host left was easy to follow, we got there without a problem. We parked & got setup in our spot. Kevin came out to great us and invited us to a meet and greet with the other campers later that evening and one other evening. We really enjoyed the meet and greet; it was nice hearing about Kevin and Julie's story and other folk's stories and travels as well. We thought this was a perfect location for us to stay, because we wanted to visit Mount Rainier and Olympic National Park without having to move the RV. There was more than enough space to walk our dogs. The electric hookup was great, we filled up our water tank before we left, and to top it off there is a very convenient dump station one exit south at a place called Baydos. We paid $1 to dump and its free with a purchase.
Kevin & Julie, thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your place. Our pups appreciates having our portable fence up, so thank you for allowing us to do that. Also enjoyed checking out your fabulous garden!
This couple are really great hosts. They are set up for 4+ RVs, with hookups if you need them for a nominal fee. They had everyone get together and visit one evening, which was very nice. I enjoyed my stay there.
This was my first stay at a Boonedockers Welcome. I absolutely loved it. I can only hope the rest are as good as this. This family is very welcome and helpful. I really enjoyed meeting the travelers staying here as well, that is a nice touch. This place is well kept and very nice. They do an amazing job keep up the property and keeping the parking spots in great condition. Easy in and out with any rig. Thank you guys for the stay!!
Our first as a guest. Had fun Friendly and very welcoming We had great neighbors
Kevin and Julie were wonderful hosts! They were very accommodating when our batteries died twice and we needed to hook up to electricity to recharge. We would love to visit their place again! It’s an idyllic farm-like setting with either partial hookups or dry camping in a huge field where you’ll see deer in the morning.
Great couple, enjoyed speaking with them and exchanging experiences. Nice sites, we had a very relaxing stay!
We had a wonderful stay at K & J's and thank them for their hospitality. This is a quiet, rural setting that is close to I-5 and many amenities. We set up camp on a level, gravel pad next to their beautiful garden area. Having 30 Amp power and water was such a bonus. We enjoyed visiting in the evening with K, J and some other BW guests. We enjoyed sharing stories and learning about their interesting experiences. We highly recommend K & J's BW location. Many thanks for a wonderful stay.
This is such a lovely spot to stay! We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and getting to know Kevin and Julie and the other boondockers. It’s a beautiful and peaceful location!
Fantastic host, great location and saved us from the highway rest stop, thank you!
Words can not express how wonderful this place is. Easy to get to and set up. Each site is also spacious. K is such a nice man. He allowed our child to play on swing set, explore for bugs, and ride a small fire engine. The smile on his face was priceless. The other guest were also super nice and helpful. Thanks for a great place to regroup and explore Mount Rainer.
This was our first BW stay and it was great! We didn't get to meet the hosts but they were attentive to messages. Their property was beautiful with nice grass and close proximity to I5, as well as a couple nice local parks Would definitely stay again!
We had a great stay here. They were extremely accommodating. We would stay with them again.
This location was absolutely wonderful. There were a handful of other RVers here as well. It was a wonderful time for socializing and exchanging stories. Kevin and Julie were prompt to respond to any messages and their property was welcoming and beautifully manicured. I had a wonderful time. I had water and a 15 amp connection. My dog was welcomed as well. I highly recommend this location and can't express my gratitude enough to Kevin and Julie for their hospitality.
What a Gorgeous property and home for a Boondockers Welcome stay. Kevin and Julie were terrific in organizing our stay over the 4th of July weekend. Thank you so much. We loved hearing the Wild Turkeys each day. What a treat.
We appreciated our stay here, such a beautiful place. Thank you for hosting us, plus providing water and Wi-Fi. We enjoyed the visiting deer, too.
This was our first experience with BW and it exceeded our exceptions. We stayed in site 3, which more than met our needs with water and 30 amp. The other guests were pleasant. A very short ride into town; museums, restaurants and hiking are very close by.
Such a great stay to relax and not far from resources and stores.
We enjoyed a lovely overnight stay here and loved it! The location, peacefulness and privacy were amazing! Our pups enjoyed exploring the field and trail, an added bonus was that we had our first good nights sleep in months! We will definitely stay again.
Didn’t get a chance to meet the host but the site was a very nice beautiful location. I would definitely recommend these host and will stay here again when In the area.
Kevin and Julie’s location is beautiful, convenient to I-5, has optional electricity and water and great wifi. Only sorry They we’re away and I didn’t have a chance to meet them.
Our dog had a great time running around and getting all his energy out! We were very comfortable, it was quiet, and we had a very nice stay. Would stay again!
Wow! Flat surfaces, garden scenery, safe environment! Thank you!
Great location with great level spots, shade, power, water, and scenery. Very helpful hosts.
We saw deer and we were cool and comfortable all day and all night. Would definitely stay again.
We loved our first BDW stay. Kevin and Julie were overly kind. They hosted a campfire with other boondockers while we were there. Kevin loaned us a few tools to make a minor repair. Their home is located close to town (lots of shopping and dining options) but still surrounded by quiet rural homes. We loved watching the cows and hearing the turkeys across the street. Easy to access to parking spots. Water and 30amp available. No downsides. Would definitely recommend it.
A great place with space for multiple rigs. Enjoyed the facilities and chatting with the hosts and other Boondockers. 👍
First Boondockers stop and it was perfect. Host and grounds were great!
Kevin and Julie were incredibly gracious and hospitable. Their property is amazing - quiet, beautiful, and peaceful. They are informative and friendly.
This was an incredible first BW experience and first time out with our new fifth wheel!
Absolutely beautiful location, and was given choices on where to park our rig for the night.
Thank you so much for your hospitality and knowledge. We will visit again (with more know-how hopefully)! Great people, great location and great experience, five stars all the way around!
Such a peaceful place to do a few rewrites on my book. And Then the rain hit. My host offered to let me stay longer to get my roof repaired, lent me a tarp and even put it on the roof for me.
I am staying at least a couple extra days as all the repair shops are closed on Sunday
A very nice stop over, highly recommend
Level parking area, plenty of room, friendly hosts and they replied very quickly to questions. Would definitely recommend this host!
This was an incredible stay for us. Amazing property set up for multiple RVs. It was very quiet and so comfortable with 30 amp
And wifi. K and J were so gracious to allow us to stay while they were away. We feel blessed.
Easy to pull into and lots of room! We stayed 2 nights. Highly recommend!
Kevin and Julie were amazing hosts with a great big property with tons of room! We paid for water/electric hookups and had an easy to pull into spot by the garden with a 39’ 5th wheel. They have a beautiful walking trail in the woods at the end of the property which we enjoyed!
Very helpful host and super people. We loved our stay and our 6 year old will remember this stop for quite awhile. He had so much fun. Thanks so much.
Kevin met us upon our arrival and was a pleasure to chat with. He is a graceful host and very generous with their property. We only needed water for our rig which came from their well.Thank you.
The setting is absolutely lovely and peaceful, and so close to the freeway. Frogs croaking, birds overhead and we were thrilled to see a bat flying above us! We love watching these aerial acrobats at work catching their meals.
Kevin and Julie, thank you so much for hosting us, especially since your property was our first Boondockers Welcome stay. We loved the location, peace and quiet, and especially meeting Kevin. We bet there are lots more stories to hear -:)
Cheers, and safe travels.

Thank you Kevin for a great stay at your place. It was a wonderful stop on our way up to the Pacific Northwest
We're sorry it couldn't have been longer. Strongly encourage both driving up through to Tacoma or into Seattle to check out their place..
Kevin and Julie are the most gracious hosts. I have stayed with them twice in the last 8 months. My puppy and I love staying there. A great place to relax and space for Roxi to run. Thank you so munch.
This is by far the best kept grounds and the most generous hosts we have ever stayed with. Easy access gravel sites, fire ring, picnic table, water, electric and wifi. We enjoyed our stay very much and were fortunate to meet such kind people. Thank you Kevin & Julie for allowing us to stay on your property and for your kindness and generosity.
We met Kevin on arrival and felt very welcomed. We stayed in the back private space with huge firepit and total privacy.
Had an amazing evening to celebrate my husband's birthday, and slept very well.
Thankyou so much Kevin and Julie.
We highly recommend this place. ❤
This is a repeat visit for us to Kevin & Julie’s little slice of heaven. We were welcomed with only a couple of hours notice. Kevin greeted us shortly after we arrived. We spent a nice quiet evening & headed out to Mt Saint Helens in the morning.
We really enjoyed our stay. The hookups were a nice perk, and the hosts were friendly. They gave us recommendations on places to visit on the area. Their property was great four our kids to run some energy off! Highly recommend this location.
A quiet, peaceful stay for a couple days. Thank you, Kevin and Julie!
This was my third stay on the property of Kevin and Julie. They have been so gracious inviting me to stay there overnight, which I always appreciate, especially this time after having driven 350 miles today.
As usual, their country setting was pleasant and quiet, which put me to sleep quickly. I recommend staying with Kevin and Julie because they are truly wonderful hosts.
Incredible site and owners. Can’t say enough great things about them.
We had to cut our stay by a few days due to a family surprise. But while we were there, oh were the cherry blossoms beautiful in this part of the state. We so enjoy spring in western Washington. Thank you to our Hosts.
Kevin and Julie have a beautiful property! Very peaceful location, yet not too far from amenities.
I didn’t get to meet Kevin and Julie, but I did get to meet the camp host and her family! The camp host made sure I had everything I needed and went out of her way to accommodate my needs! The town is very small, but it is a good location to larger places if you wanted to stay out of the way a bit. Nice property with a beautiful little trail in the back. Had hookups and WiFi if you needed that!
This is our 2nd time we've stayed here and we absolutely love it! If we are ever back this way we will be staying again. Iys a nice and quiet area with room to roam and a place for our kiddos to play! They even have a toy set for the kiddos, this is a for sure family friendly place. Unfortunately we didn't get to meet the main host but through text they are so accommodating, friendly and wonderful! The host that are on the property are absolutely amazing and have made us feel more than welcomed. We love this place 🙂
Roxi and I had a wonderful stay Kevin and Julie’s . It was quiet and peaceful. Our hosts were away enjoying their own travels but the young lady who was in charge was very nice and most accommodating. We enjoyed our stay and hope to meet Kevin and Julie the next time we pass through Chehalis.
Just what we needed. A quiet spot to spend our last night on the road before returning home. Thanks.
This was my first time at a Boondockers Welcome site, and I had a great time! Kevin and Julie were away on their own adventure, but there was someone available onsite, and everything was exactly as described. They responded right away when I messaged them. Lovely quiet location for a couple nights to relax and see a bit of the area. Thanks so much!
Kevin and Julie had left for Arizona before we arrived this year, but we had stayed with them in 2018. We were the only BW guests this time, and had the same spot we were in before. Same comment as before, this place exceeds some RV parks! Sites are level, power and water nearby for our site (Site #1). We will be back again in the future some time or other for sure!
Very kind and gracious hosts! It was nice to socially-distance visit and share stories. Will definitely be returning when weather is nicer to check out the surrounding area more 🙂
Do yourself a favor and get to know these great hosts. The location is convenient and level and quiet and the hosts are a delight.
This was our first Boondockers Welcome Experience, and it was absolutely phenomenal. I honestly cannot say enough positive things about our hosts, Kevin and Julie. Kevin not only met us when we arrived, but we saw him periodically during our stay, and he was so very helpful with several things. We needed to be near a terminally ill family member, and the location was perfect for our needs. Kevin and Julie were very gracious in offering to extend our stay, so we did not have to move during the difficult time that our family is going through. Although there was quite a bit of rain during our stay, The gravel driveway helped significantly to keep mud out of our camper. During the last night of our stay, we sat and had a lovely chat with this wonderful couple, I cannot recommend them enough.
Kevin and Julie allowed us to overnight in the shop driveway even though at the time of contact their spaces were full. It was Christmas weekend, Covid-19 and early evening when we arrived. Kevin took the time to talk with us for a short while. Extremely friendly and would definitely inquire again.
Great host and convenient location. Several level sites with great views and friendly people. Will definitely return.
Never saw the host but the host was quick at responding to our messages and provide all the details to stay. Great location for Mount Rainier or Mount St Helens.
Stayed here in Sept 2020 and left a review but appears it didn't post. This was my 2nd stay and love the quiet space to rest, going north or south. Next time I will request a few nites so I can explore the area and time it so I can take a train ride.always a bonus to have hookup, dump and water!
Host was very helpful. The property was very clean, we'll kept and as advertised. Very stormy so we weren't able to enjoy the walking trails which is no reflection on this host.
The hosts were traveling and I'm sorry that we didn't meet them because our interactions with them were great. Super nice people and a great place to stay with power and water. As the hosts will tell you, the grass is really soft after rain. Be extra careful not to drive on it while getting to your spot if it has been raining!
Kevin and Julies spot is the perfect location! Feels like your tucked out in the country but so close to I-5! We just stopped for a quick overnight but my children loved the play set and our dogs loved the fields! Will definitely stop through here again. Thank you for the hospitality!
We so appreciate Kevin and Julie's place! It is not only beautiful, but we felt very safe and had a great night's sleep. Our site was level with plenty of room for our 42' 5th wheel without having to unhook. We even had 30 amp which was great since it was a little nippy!! We met one of our neighbors, a really sweet young couple and their 2 littles. Even though our hosts were off on their own adventure, they graciously let us stay anyways. Thank you Kevin and Julie - Hoping to catch up with you in the Arizona desert this winter!
What a great place for our first Boondockers Welcome experience. Although the hosts were gone, substitute host Katie warmly welcomed us. The sites are easy to get into and having water and electric was fabulous. We hope to catch up with Kevin and Julie in the AZ desert this winter.
I had so much fun on this stay at Kevin and Julie’s property. They were so accommodating and my friends and I travel in a two vehicle caravan and they were able to arrange it for us to stay configured next to each other. They really went above and beyond for us. I can’t recommend this location enough.
We had an amazing time staying at This location. The property was very clean and quiet. Short drive to a cute little pumpkin patch which was a special treat. Would recommend this place to anyone and would definitely stay here again!
Extended our stay. Wrote full review after our most recent stay when we departed Oct 22.
Very nice hosts sharing their beautiful home.
We had a very relaxing and peaceful stay at Kevin & Julies home. Unfortunately they were off on their own travel adventures so we did not actually get to meet and get to know them. But we did communicate numerous times via email and they were always immediately responsive and helpful.
We are also very pleased by the developments they had installed around their large lot to accommodate RVers - specifically electricity and water with good WiFi from their house. They have gone above & beyond to make people like us very welcome - we really appreciated it!
Not only is their home located amidst beautiful rolling hills and picturesque farms town with but it is only a few miles to numerous stores- readily available. We could have easily stayed there for weeks.
So thank you very much Kevin & Julie!!
Great spot - very peaceful and quiet here. Wish we could have met the hosts but they were off traveling.
We had a great stay at their place and an enjoyable visit with our hosts. The accommodations were excellent and even exceed many of the RV parks we have stayed in. Will definitely plan a visit when we are in the area again......
We arrived super excited to stay at K&J. From the turn into their property we were greeted by them and they showed us where to park. We stayed at spot #2 which was great location both to their playground and the field for our dog to run. We initially meant to stay 5days but quickly realized that Verizon service was pretty much non existent and the WiFi simply wasn’t fast enough for our work needs. Kevin helped me troubleshoot a solution after we mentioned this and really tried to work with us. They seem so genuine and nice, we’d love to come back. Just not when working lol. We left early in the morning waiting we didn’t get to say goodbye but Thank You Both for the generosity.
We throughly enjoyed our stay with Kevin and Julie. They were super accommodating and went above and beyond to help us troubleshoot an electrical issue we were having. We were in spot 3, and even though its close to road it was quiet at night. We felt like we had plenty of space even though they hosted several other rigs while we were there. Our cat especially loved his stay on property! He made friends with the neighboring cows and was extremely sad to leave.
We had a wonderful stay even though the weather didn't fully cooperate. This host location is set up well and was easy to maneuver with our 36' 5th wheel.
Easy access. Flat parking. Quiet. Very welcoming hosts. Thank you Kevin and Julie.
Its very quite and peaceful. Waking up to deer in the yard was a beautiful surprise. I would recommend staying here if you need time to recover from a long drive. The hosts are friendly and welcoming.
Host was exceptionally friendly and has a very impressive property. Boondocking setup is great. Hope to be back again in the future
Beautiful grounds and gracious host. What more could one ask for? Parking was quite convenient--right next to a tempting vegetable garden. No, I didn't raid it, but it did look savory. The setting sun glistening through the autumn leaves was almost magical. Thank you.
Lovely homestead and gracious hosts! Sites are easily accessible even for my 37’ 5r. I would recommend this host if you want to be surrounded by nature and beautiful groomed grounds. I have garden envy now!!
This was the second time I've boondocked on this couple's beautiful property. Kevin and Julie are friendly, generous hosts. Along with their friendly conversation, I deeply appreciate their kind hospitality. I very highly recommend meeting and visiting with them, as nearly 200 other guests with Boondockers Welcome have as well.
Had deer out by us daily. Super sweet couple! Kids even got to ride the mini “fire truck”!
Make sure to check out the path in the woods! This couple is so very generous to share their beautiful location with us. We watched to two Does and their 3 fawns eating in the yard!
Just a note - our Verizon signal didn't work but Kevin and Julie shared their WIFI with us. Yours may work fine...
Wonderful private spot. Clean well maintained site to boondock. Definitely would return.
We had a lovely weekend with Sun and Fall colors starting. Host's are gracious with their warm welcome each time we have arrived.
I am grateful they could accommodate me over this holiday weekend and on only a few hours notice. Their property is very nice and super easy to get in/out of. You'll also enjoy riding your motorcycles on the surrounding roads. They are in excellent condition with twists and rolls. There is also an excellent paved trail ~ 5 minutes from the house to walk the dog or ride your bicycle.
Kevin and Julie were very helpful and the property is in a beautiful country setting close to the freeway. Setup was easy on the flat ground. Kevin had suggestions on what to see. Very nice couple. Definitely will stay again!
Lucky to find this place to stay around Labor Day. It was hard to find an RV park with availability and we needed electricity to get us past the next few days of the holiday weekend. This place was perfect. The host are wonderful people!
We wanted to thank you in person before we left in the morning but we didn't see you around...Thanks so much!
This is a great place to stay. It's in a quiet, beautiful area of Chehalis and the location is perfect to go to Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier. Kevin and Julie greeted us after we arrived and also invited us to join them and the other Boondockers at a campfire one night. We loved getting to know them and hearing stories of their life and travels. We stayed in site #3 with access to water and electric, and used the dump on our departure. Thanks for your hospitality Kevin and Julie. We will definitely be back next time we're in the area.
Kevin and Julie are the best! Beautiful location, very friendly and helpful. We will return when in the area, no question. We were in their " no service's" area. Secluded spot, plenty of room and gorgeous.
This is a great boondocking environment. Everything is well planned and maintained. The hosts are generous to share this place. There is no Verizon signal, but I had good boosted AT&T with a high end booster.
We had a great, quiet nights stay with Kevin and Julie! Would stay again!
Beautiful place for camping. Level spot, we were fortunate to be able to have water and electricity hookups. We visited Mt. St, Helens, Olympia. Great bike trail nearby. Very nice couple to visit, enjoyed this camping site.
Kevin and Julie helped us have a beautiful and well outfitted stay for our last minute request! We had such a relaxing stay and felt so welcomed...Thank you so much Kevin and Julie! We are grateful for your hospitality:)
We’ve been using Boondockers Welcome for two years, and this host location is our favorite! We enjoyed the privacy and beauty of their primitive camping site. We were able to sit around a fire with our hosts and a few other Boondocking guests, which was an extra treat. This location is very convenient and the hosts are very accommodating!
This place is perfect. Nice flat and very well kept sites. The back location for dry docking is beautiful with a fire pit. Our 40 ft class A had plenty of room in a front site with 30 amp. It is easy to get to on good roads.
Kevin and Julie are just the best hosts. You can tell they enjoy the Boondockers that visit their place. What special people they are!
We had a wonderful time with the Host's and other couples around the campfire last evening. A special memory of our visit to the Pacific Northwest. We truly appreciated our Host's hospitality for the evening.
We were greeted by the host as we pulled in and immediately felt his sincerity, he is so kind. Our spot was perfect, peaceful and there was plenty of room. We enjoyed watching the wildlife grazing and slept great! We hope to make this a regular layover in the future and look forward to longer conversations with this host.
Needing a quiet place to stay i reached out to these hosts for a same night stay and was welcomed very shortly later with an acceptance email. The hosts, property and surprise applesauce were just amazing. This was certainly one of my best experiences with Boondockers.
This was our first time staying with a Boondocker's Welcome host and we couldn't have been happier. It was in a wonderful country setting. The back of the property is wooded with a nice trail through it. It was also close enough to Chehalis that you could make a quick trip for extra supplies. Our hosts were so gracious and kind. This is likely to be our favorite place to camp for years to come.
We stayed at Kevin & Julie’s property for 4 nights and it was a great experience camping there. I found them very kind and their property is beautiful. It was nice camping around farm lands. We both felt the peacefulness of sitting outside of our RV. We had electricity To run our ac which was very helpful because it was in the 90’s. We would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a safe and quiet place to stay. Thank you both so much!
Kevin was very friendly and receptive when we arrived. He was busy working on his property but took a few minutes to greet us. We enjoyed a much needed relaxing evening watching the stars. We will definitely return for another visit.
Kevin and Julie have a fantastic piece of property and we had a great stay. Great directions and setup-30amp power was available and it looks like water and sewer going in. Fantastic hosts we enjoyed visiting before we left. Would definitely stay again. Thanks Guys!
We spent 4 nights with Kevin and Julie. The first night we were there they hosted a campfire gathering with 2 other boondockers (social distancing). They provided us with 30 amp electric and water, which was greatly appreciated. We were gone most of the time seeing Mount St. Helen's and Mount Rainier. So, we didn't get to spend a lot of time with them. They are very nice people and have a fantastic location for relaxing or seeing the sights. If we are ever this way again we will definitively request a stay.
Amazing stay. The owners are so nice. Very close to the highway but quiet. Highly recommended.
Kevin and Julie have a beautiful spot in the country, but close enough to the highways to make them the perfect stopover. They are friendly and helpful. Julie shared some of the lettuce from her garden with us. We enjoyed conversations with both of them about RVing, family, the history of their property, and the disaster relief work they do.
I wish we had discovered them sooner; we would have enjoyed a longer stay.
Our hosts were very friendly, generous and easygoing. We were greeted upon arrival and were directed to the most beautiful, private, level and serene boondocking spot beside the treeline. We enjoyed a campfire with our host and other guests the first night and it was nice to talk to people again—physically distanced, of course. Felt comfortable running the generator a bit, as it was out of earshot of anyone. Stayed 2 nights.
Highly recommended host site close to I-5!
These hosts live their lives in a spirit of service and generosity, including their impeccably maintained property which has been set up to welcome all kinds of rigs, on multiple level sites including amenities as described in their overview. They clearly enjoy meeting people and sharing travel and life stories. There were three BDW rigs there my last night and they made a lovely bonfire around which we (at a distance!) had a very pleasant visit. In addition to the “big” sights an hour or two away, there are some very nice things to do within biking distance, including a farm to table restaurant and market in town and a long flat rails to trails along the river. Thank you!
We stopped here one night to break up a long drive, but wish we stayed to relax a bit. We stayed in the 5th site which was beautiful and very well taken care of. Kevin was very friendly. We had some deer came over to say hi as well.
We are so grateful for the hospitality of these 2 hosts. They are the best, helping us get set up to giving us homemade applesauce and veggies and herbs from their gardens. We enjoyed our time visiting with them and hearing their stories, a great couple who give back to church and community. Thank you guys so much for your hospitality, we hope to stay with you guys again in the future.
Kevin and Julie are exceedingly generous; beautiful safe secure location in a farmland area. We visited an awesome museum in the area, the antiquing and walked around enjoying the sights and sounds of farm country. There’s so much to do nearby, and it’s very little cost. It was nice to get away from the frenetic environment of what’s happening in the major cities. This location has water, 30amp power, and amazing hosts. We were greeted with social distancing and despite that, felt welcomed like old friends. Don’t miss this one!
We spent a very peaceful 2 nights with this generous host. We parked on the back field which was firm and solid at this time of year (last week of July). Both hosts are very industrious with their various projects - veggie garden, building a new barn, canning, etc. We hope to see them on the road another time, and would certainly stop in for a visit next time we’re passing through WA.
This was our first Boondockers Welcome stay and it was amazing! The hosts were so attentive via messaging to give us details about our stay prior to and during our arrival, even though they were off enjoying their own RV adventure! Everything is exactly as described on their Host page and far exceeded any expectations we had.
Thank you, Kevin and Julie, for making your beautiful property available to Boondockers Welcome!
We absolutely enjoyed our 1st Boondockers Welcome stay at Kevin & Julie's property! They are so wonderful even though unfortunately we didn't get to meet them but through messaging they made us feel right at home 🙂 The kiddos got to play on the play structure, have free roam of the property and we all enjoyed the trail through the woods! I couldn't think of a better place for our 1st stay ❤ Thank you Kevin & Julie, you're place is amazing and so are you guys!!
We had a short stay at this location. Very friendly hosts and a quiet location. Everyone observed COVID19 procedures.
Kevin and Julie were the best host ever. We had a wonderful time and we enjoyed socializing with them and learning about the ranch. We needed to do a small project on our RV and Kevin made his shop, tools and experience available to us. Kevin and Julie’s house is in a picturesque setting. Best of luck to them on their future adventures RVing retirement.
What a beautiful property! We stayed 3 nights, it was very peaceful. Kevin & Julie are exceptional hosts, very gracious & friendly. Thank you for sharing your property, would definitely recommend.
Kevin & Julie were so very nice and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there! It was so peaceful & quiet and we saw deer right outside our RV every day...what a treat! Would stay here again for sure!
We travel full-time and were quarantined in Sisters, Oregon for nearly two months. We've now been traveling again for almost a month and they were our first Boondockers spot at which we stayed. We had a nice spot near their barn complete with electric hook up. We were able to visit a bit with proper physical distancing, of course. We would definitely stay with them again. Great spot for a quiet night's rest.
We absolutely loved this couple and their yard. Out in the country a bit, a huge open green field is behind the house where we camped. Out little dogs ran after the ball to their heart’s content. We enjoyed seeing Keven tinker in his shop and around the property. What a lovely stay.
This was our first experience with BDW and couldn’t have had a better place and hosts. Our hosts are saints. Full of generosity and have a beautiful place. We really enjoyed the gobbling tom turkey, meandering 🐄 and stealthy deer.
A host site you will be glad you visited.
Kevin and Julie have a lovely property and we thoroughly enjoyed meeting them and staying at their place. Although Kevin had power available for us, we opted to try out boondocking. They have an awesome site in the back with a large fire pit. The ground was too soft for our rig right now, but if we’re ever this way again later in the summer we’d love to come back and camp there. We also got a kick out of the impressive turkey across the street and really enjoyed their path through the woods with its lovely wildflowers, bushy ferns, and mossy trees. Love those Washington forest smells!
The hosts were great and very accommodating. The property was very RV friendly even for a big rig. I look forward to staying there again in the future!
I had the pleasure of staying at Kevin & Julie's for a night. They have a quiet and peaceful property where you can hear birds chirping, frogs croaking, and crickets, feeling like you're out in the wilderness while enjoying wifi and close proximity to town/the highway. I'll definitely be back in the warmer months to visit!
We stay here once before last fall and didn't get to meet Kevin and Julie. This time that was rectified. Kevin and I had a nice conversation. He is a like minded RV'r. The spots are level, gaveled and easy to get into and out of. As my solar wasn't working because of the cloudy day I hooked up to his 20 amp cord for the night.
Great spot to stop off of I-5.
We arrived in the pouring rain but Kevin was there to welcome us. We had a great sleep and then said our farewell. Unfortunately Larry turned too sharply coming out of the driveway and put a huge rut in the corner of the lawn! We feel terrible about doing this to such nice hosts. Kevin said not to worry about it but it’s not the way we wish things had gone.
Kevin & Julie's location made me feel so comfortable. Woke up with a dusting of snow on the ground reminded me of my childhood. The location is conveniently close to the I5. We pulled in when it was already dark (not something we usually do) but Kevin graciously helped us.
Thank you Kevin
My husband and I came in in the evening, Julie was very welcoming upon arrival. the next day we met Kevin, whom was more than welcoming and very helpful when we found a leak in our ceiling while sleeping the 2nd night we were there. I would say they were very helpful and understanding, welcoming and kind!
Such gracious and generous hosts..... they took time out of their busy schedule to stop in and say high. They told us some heart warming stories about doing some mission work in Paradise California, and supporting people there that were devastated by the fires. If more people could take a page out of Kevin & Julie life the world would be a much better place.
Thanks for all you do and thanks for the great place to stop for the night.
David & Judy Hale
We arrived after dark and Kevin and Julie had let us know that they would be gone for the evening. They had gone out of their way to set up cones letting us know exactly where to park! They dropped in later and we had a nice visit. They are genuine folk who love to help others. Wonderful hosts and a gorgeous spot. We'll be back!
We arrived after dark in the rain, no worries! Easy place to park and Kevin was there to greet us. It is a lovely property, quiet and peaceful. Kevin is so kind and accommodating, we were blessed to find this location. We did not get to meet Julie unfortunately. I bet she is just as kind! 😊
With great thanks,
~Jeana & Mark
We had a wonderful stay here. Kevin was very accommodating of our changing arrival times. And met us on arrival to help get situated. And even let me borrow some tools to adjust my hitch. And the property was beautiful. Plenty of room to turn around and situate yourself. Multiple boondockers could be there at the same time easily. We drove in to tacoma one night and then went to mt Rainier the next day.
Very welcoming. Good site with power and water.
We needed to do some adjustments on our hitch. Kevin supplied us with the tools we needed.
When not traveling the country as 3rd-Responders providing post-disaster assistance to less fortunate souls, these good Christians offer a helpful and lovely Sanctuary to fellow RVers in need of a way-station along the road:) With sincere gratitude, C7
We were passing through Chehalis and had some time to kill before getting to our ultimate destination. Kevin & Julie were not home but still let us stay five days! Easy in and out spot with plenty of room to maneuver. Some other people came and went while we were there (there is room for more than one guest). We were just minutes from some hiking trails nearby and no more than 10 minutes from post office, grocery stores, so we could resupply and run errands. The electric hookup was a nice bonus...Thanks again for providing the great location!
Super accommodating hosts, great people. Great place to stay south of Seattle. Cute town too, check out Shakespeare and Coffee if you like coffee, books, and cats!
I feel very fortunate for having stayed on the beautiful property of Kevin and Julie. Just before arriving there, I had a minor accident when the corner of my trailer brushed against a post, resulting in a yellow blemish. Kevin kindly offered to buff it off, leaving it 95% restored. I am extremely thankful for his effort!
Kevin and Julie live in a quiet country setting, and I highly recommend staying there because they are exceptionally kind hosts.
A really nice, safe and quiet place. We don’t met the hosts personally because they wasn't home Even though they allowed us to stay. Nice instruction to find everything we need. Thank you!
A great spot to stay overnight! Very close to I-5 but very quiet at night. Although our hosts were away during our stay, We would highly recommend a visit.
Beautiful serene property with hookups and wifi! Kevin and Julie responded quickly to my request even though they were away and then allowed me to stay another nite so I could go have dinner at Jeremy's Farm to Table restaurant, then have myself a Netflix evening as we got a downpour of rain. Honey loved watching the deer and not having to be on leash. Makr sure to take a slow stroll through the walking loop in the back! Hope next time I come through that I will get to meet Kevin and Julie. Thank you for being a part of BW Community!
What a gorgeous place to stay! The hosts were so friendly and accommodating, and I LOVED the trail through their land on the back. A dream come true, thank you!
Kevin and Julie hosted us at extremely short notice. They were accommodating, helpful and gracious. Although our stay was short enough not to require anything other than wifi, the services they provide to visitors - including one full hook-up - goes above and beyond. They should be commended and recognized for such generosity.
Ann and I can’t thank you enough.
It was another wonderful stay. We will definitely be back again if we make our way back to Washington.
We visited in August and again in September. After 6000 miles from Florida to Washington, through 17 States, and over six months on the road... this was the only time we went back and stayed a second visit at any place. These folks are really special people. All our thanks and compliments for their willingness to share what they've built with the Boondockers community.
Enjoyed a quiet night tucked away in the forest at the back of the property. Peaceful and lovely.
Kevin and Julie are wonderful hosts who immediately make you feel welcomed. It was also amazing to have hookups and wifi as an added bonus! Kevin even provided an unexpected homeschooling lesson for our kids on firetrucks and old farm equipment.
Beautiful place. Even if we met him shortly, Kevin was really welcoming and friendly. Thanks again!
Upon arrival the host gave me blackberries from her own garden, which was really lovely! They have a perfect spot for RV's in a beautiful quiet area, so I left the next day well rested. Thank you so much!
We travel up and down I 5 all the time and we've just found our newest and best overnight spot. This is a fantastic spot. Or actually several spots. Plenty of room for big rigs. We're in a 37 ft 5th wheel. I would live to come done time and stay in the back.
It was a joy to stay at this beautiful, serene property. Kevin and Julie were not at home when I arrived but had provided me with all the information I needed to make my arrival smooth. When they arrived home they were very gracious and welcoming. Kevin made a repair on my motorhome and they allowed me to stay an extra night to have my motorhome serviced. I throughly enjoyed interacting with him, he has a lot of knowledge and skills. They are kind, generous and gracious, the world needs more folks like Kevin and Julie. I would definitely stay here again!
We stayed one night, pulling in after dark. Hosts were nice enough to let us stay even though they were not at home. There were other Boondockers staying as well. We saw a deer on arrival and in the morning when we left too :-) The property is lovely with plenty of pretty level spaces. The proximity to the highway make it a great spot to stop when on the go, seems like there’s plenty of things to check out in the area too, but we were on the road and did not have time to explore the surrounding area.
Easy place to camp with all the amenities of a normal campground!
Been here once before and were delighted to stay again.
We enjoy being outside and just admiring the entire layout of the place.
It is so pretty and so much care tase put into their home and outdoor space.
Thanks for hosting us!
Absolutely gorgeous location. Kevin and Julie have a pristine property, built with such care and love. Many beautiful gardens, and a blackberry patch out back. We were able to take runs around the neighborhood too. Very quiet area, 10 min from major amenities, wi-fi was great, 5 stars!!!
Thank you so much for having us!
We enjoyed a nice, quiet few days at Kevin and Julie's location. They have a beautiful property with beautiful gardens. It's quiet and a great location to enjoy Mt. Rainier and Mt. St. Helens. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for everything!
We were unable to meet our fabulous hosts, but even when they were away they confirmer our stay, had a speedy response and were incredibly gracious. Thank you!
We enjoyed a quiet, peaceful stay. Lots of room to maneuver. Very pleasant setting. The host was very accommodating and kind.
Kevin and Julie are so gracious to let us stay on their property. They have some spots near the house where they offered power but we are self contained so we chose the spot in the back and it was beautiful. This area was nicer than most campgrounds I have stayed at. This very private area surrounded by trees was perfect! Thanks so much it’s really nice to know there are some great people out there still.
Thanks so much for the peaceful stay! We felt very welcome, and my son loved the playground :)
Next to our trailer was a wonderful vegetable garden of corn stalks, zucchini and much more. One day we woke up to two families of deer eating apples that fell from the tree.
Julie was very kind and supportive. Bless her and her husband for allowing us to stay on their property for 5 days.
Our neighbors in a travel trailer were also kind and fun to talk to and sharing stories
Andy & Charlotte
The place is lovely. They have put a lot of effort into the property. It is super-convenient to get to and to stay. Everything is smart and worked out. Highly recommended!
We had such a great time staying here and the host was as gracious as you could ask. Beautiful property, good time visiting with other guests, plenty of room for the kids to spread out. Hope to stay here again in the future.
Kevin and Julie are gracious hosts and offer their beautiful yard for a quiet place to stay. Thanks for sharing and allowing us to enjoy a great stay in Washington! We love Boondockers Welcome and an awesome opportunity to meet fellow travelers and local people in the new places we visit.
We enjoyed our stay at this quiet place and look forward to a return stay next year. Our hosts were very kind and helpful with local information also
Kevin and Julie are wonderful hosts! We enjoyed meeting them and had such a peaceful stay on their beautiful property!
Thank you again Kevin & Julie!
Kevin and Julie go above and beyond for hosts. This was our second time we stayed here 👍🏻 It’s better that staying at a lot of rv parks. If your lucky they will bust out the fire pit and show you the best way to cook up a smores. 😋
Lovely couple although I met Them individually. I came in when it was dark Julie was waiting for me and was very sweet. And the next day I met Kevin and we had a lovely chat. I would have loved to of spent more time with them at their beautiful property but I had an appointment in the morning in Seattle and couldn’t stay as long as I wished. I do hope to come back someday where I can get to know them better.
The hosts made our stay at their property extremely memorable. Upon our arrival we were greeted with smiles and fresh lettuce from the garden. The kids got to ride on the yard tractor converted to mimic a firetruck. They had a blast. The property is one of the most beautiful and spacious we have stayed. Don't pass up the chance to stay with this lovely couple.
Lovely spot. We had our own private campsite and we were visited by deer I'm the morning. Very generous hosts, highly recommended.
We had such a nice stay with Kevin and Julie. We came with two other families, and we all really enjoyed our stay. The kids had nonstop fun in their yard and play area– like all day– even in the rain. They even let the kids take a spin on Kevin's homemade tractor/firetruck and had a bonfire smores night.
This was our first Boondockers Welcome experience and I think we've likely been spoiled by our stay here! It was a pleasant surprise that they have some hookup sites with 20 amp electric and water. Their dry camping area is secluded and peaceful too. You can't go wrong by staying here. We left some money and offered to help out on any projects even though they didn't ask/require it because we are grateful that they have been so generous to share their time and home with us. Kevin and Julie are genuinely good people.
I hope you have amazing travels and excellent guests come your way.
Thanks so much for making our first Boondockers trip a success! You have a terrific layout and are so generous to share your place with others (including the wonderful fresh-picked garden lettuce! We heartily recommend your beautiful place!
This was our first stay using BDW and was a great experience! Kevin & Julie were great hosts made us feel right at home. They set the bar high for other hosts lol. Well worth a stay if your around there place.
Wonderful spot, had hookups available and was quiet and peaceful. Would definitely recommend this place to others.
Had a great stay at Kevin and Julie‘s site! Good location, less than 2h away from our trailhead in Mt Rainier and very silent. Even had water and power hook up as well as wifi connection. We talked to Kevin upon arrival, very kind and welcoming host! Definitely recommend staying there! Thank you, you two!!
What a beautiful respite of greenery and quiet after a day of traveling. We appreciated the hookups and WIFI. Would be happy to stay here again.
Exceptionally gracious hosts! Couldn't ask for nicer people and a more beautiful place to stay. Many thanks for your hospitality!
This is the nicest place. Very beautiful and such a nice host. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.
Unfortunately Kevin and Julie were out of town during our stay, but we really loved staying at their beautiful property!
We enjoyed a restful weekend on this beautiful property. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much. I always get a good night's sleep at your boondocking place.
This was my first experience and it was wonderful . Kevin and Julie were excellent ! Thank you ! I chose to stay out back in a more secluded private spot around the fire pit ..it was perfect for me! I didn't want to leave ! I would stay again if ever in this area .I love Boondockers Welcome ..look forward to meeting more host !☺️
Just plain perfect site and location. Unfortunately, we did not had the chance to meet our hosts. Maybe next time!
I could not have picked nicer people or a better location for my first Boondockers Welcome experience! Being my first journey out in my newly converted van I was still working everything out and really appreciated the help and support from the hosts, who are knowledgeable well seasoned travelers. I recommend this location to anyone who enjoys being in a quiet country setting as I very much did!
We so appreciate Kevin and Julie’s hospitality. We had some trouble finding boondocking spots that fit our needs in the area, but theirs was perfect. The drive to their place is beautiful and convenient to everything. Their lot is spacious. Such helpful and friendly folks. Hope we’ll have the opportunity to come back this way some time.
What a wonderful place to spend the night. Kevin is warm, accommodating and interesting; he met us as soon as we pulled in with power cord in hand. The yard is beautifully landscaped and manicured, the field mowed with a nice firepit in the group area. My canine critter enjoyed the freedom to play fetch in the field, I appreciate not just the place to stay, but the lengths they've gone to to make their guest comfortable.
Kevin and Julie were so kind to accommodate us on such short notice and we had a wonderful time at their spot. We slept so well. We even had a fire with beautiful trees surrounding us. Kevin and Julie were flexible and allowed us to stay one extra day and were a pleasure to talk to. I’m humbled by what they do as well to give back to their community. We are really happy with our experience and their generosity.
It was great to stay with Kevin and Julie for a few nights. They were able to accommodate our change in plans and even though we had to shorten our stay, their location was great to take day trips up to Mt. Rainier and Mt. St. Helens (and we had beautiful clear skies for our visit). Hope to return again some day! Thanks.
We enjoyed the picnic table and the nicely arranged space for our stay. quiet, dark, good sleep. really appreciated it
Wonderful, friendly hosts. Quiet country setting with everything you need. Close to groceries, gas, etc. Great place. Enjoyed our stay.
Thank you Kevin and Julie for sharing your beautiful property. It was a stressful day of traveling and relaxing my night away at your home was rejuvenating.
It was an honor to meet Kevin and talk about wildland firefighters. I only wish we had had more time, but we each had appointments. I hadn't made it as far as planned and this host provided a restful spot. The yard is lovely and lush and the side street was a good walk for Robbie and me. I hope we get to connect again while we are in the area!
Seriously. Peaceful here. Lots of level room and Kevin a good guy. Thank you once more for the space.
We really enjoyed getting to spend time at Kevin and Julie's place! They are perfectly located by great sites to see and Kevin had some great recommendations for us to check out! They even had a huge field for our doggy to run and play in! An overall relaxing stay and would definitely come to see them again!
Thank you for the hospitality!

Kieth met me as I drove onto the property and showed me where to park. Beautiful rural location only a few minutes from I-5. I was busy and so were Kieth and Julie so I didn’t see them again. Slept great both nights. It’s a quiet location, didn’t even hear any coyotes!
Keivin and Julie have a beautiful location. We were parked backed into a gorgeous green meadow. Went for a walk and saw two deer bedded beside the trail. Kevin was super helpful getting us parked and hooked up to power. Unfortunately we didn’t get to meet Julie as she was away for the afternoon. We had to leave early Sunday so didn’t get a chance to say goodbye. Hope to visit again in the future.
Want to thank Kevin and Julie for a wonderful 5-day stay at their property. I had a great dinner with them at a local restaurant & learned quite a bit about the area and about the Firestormers! The spot was quiet and the frog song from the nearby creek at night lulled me to sleep. I was provided 20 amp service which was more than adequate for my little trailer, and their wi--fi was top notch. My BW experience is llimited (this is only my second location) but I've been very impressed with the hosts. Thanks again!
We really enjoyed our stay at Kevin and Julie's property. The location was easy to find, and the site was very accessible. Our three small kids loved being able to play in the yard and playground. As host, they were very accommodating, and assured we were comfortable. We would definitely recommend staying at this location.
A quick stop on our way home from down south, Julie and Kevin were great hosts, and have so much that they offered to us and other boondockers! There were 3 others there on the same night! We loved meeting them, and welcome them to our place anytime! And congratulations to Julie for placing so well in the World Pickleball Championships!
Incredibly nice people with great location! We were only there for a quick stopover but it was perfect! Thank you so much again!
Just love staying here! Kevin and Julie are just great and their place is so relaxing!
I had a great time meeting Kevin and Julie this past weekend! Loved staying with them and truly enjoyed their wonderful property, so peaceful. Especially loved the deer grazing in the field in the evenings.
This is a lovely property, and so quiet, just outside the charming town of Chehalis. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We would surely request another stay if we're ever in the area again.
It’s a great place to stay. Thank u very much for the opportunity!
It was a great start to our trip!
A real heart of hospitality! We enjoyed their place and also the conversation. Thanks folks! Keep up the good work!
Thanks to Kevin and Julie for allowing our group of 4 people and two rigs to stay on their rural property. Although our hosts were not present we appreciate the quiet surroundings of their beautiful property and a campfire on a cool damp night was a bonus.
thanks so much

Thanks for allowing us to stay two nights. It would have been great to meet you.
Maybe next time,
Our hosts were away during our stay but were very friendly in messages, have a great property with a nice level spot and hookups. Would definitely stay here again!
Unfortunately we didn’t have the pleasure to meet Kevin and Julie, they were traveling.
Even though they were not there, they kindly accepted us to stay 2 nights at their place.
Thanks a lot Kevin and Julie, hope to meet you one day.

We stayed at this fantastic gem of a Boondockers Welcome site last night. The owner met us and helped us back into the dedicated RV spot that he built at the rear of this shop. Power and water are available (we just used power for a fridge). With the owner's directions we found a Walmart for groceries and also found a dozen places to eat, shop, fuel your toad all in the Walmart area.
I would definitely recommend this location for any size of RV.
This is the second time that we have stayed at Kevin and Julie's. Both times they have been terrific hosts. We were able to spend some time with them this trip and we thoroughly enjoyed their company. With such gracious and welcoming hosts you'll be glad that you stopped and we highly recommend that you do.
They were great hosts who made it a pleasant experience for me. As this was my first stay I did not always know what to do, they were great.
Kevin and Julie hosted us a second time in same month. We absolutely loved their little paradise.
This time around we were able to actually hang out with them and another boondocking couple around a fire.
Some of the nicest people we have met.
Kevin and Julie's place was great and truly go above and beyond your normal hosts. Their property was gorgeous and conviently located to so many things. I am just bummed there was a fire ban while we visited so we didnt get to join in on a group fire.
Kevin was awesome and even helped with a repair i was doing. Welcomed me to his workshop if I needed anything. His wife brought us some amazing apple cider on our last day. They were so nice. We tended to keep to ourselves but they always let us know they were there if we needed them. Keep up with the good work on your garden, they have a cute pumpkin patch growing in it too.
Great spot to stay for a couple nights. Kevin was so nice and always offering help. Great stay!! Thank you!!
We loved our stay at Kevin and Julie's. Went above and beyond our expectations. Very clear instructions on where to set up. Our children loved the use of the play structure and the ride on Kevin's firetruck. We enjoyed walks in the woods, through the neighborhood and around the yard to pick plackberries. Very, very beautiful place with very nice hosts.
What a great couple and location. Easy off the I-5 and they couldn't have been more accommodating. We dry camped on the back 40 and it was so peaceful and quiet. Our Scottie enjoyed herself tremendously visiting with the neighbors cattle at the fence line. Thank you Kevin and Julie so much.
My second stay here because these people are so nice and wonderful... Thanks again. And the advice about taking Highway 12 was spot on; much appreciated guidance. Hope to see you next year 😊
There were four rigs other than ours during our stay but there was plenty of space and adequate privacy... not cramped like many RV parks. The site we had a 20 amp connection which was nice. Water and dump was offered but not needed in our case. Our host was happy to accommodate all of us and went out of his way to make sure everyone was situated. We would be happy to stay here again.
It was our first guest experience. It was awesome. Kevin and Julie gave us a couple of site choices. We choose the true boondock experience in a lovely quiet setting. After the crazy Seattle traffic it was a welcome retreat. Lucky for them they live far enough away. They had just finished up cooking a Dutch oven dish over coals. We were able to roast corn on the cob and our dinner. Thanks guys. Hope to meet up again. If you get to north Idaho check us out. If we head to the coast again we will surelyake your place a stop over again. Hope to visit a bit longer next time. Great people.
Warfull and generous couple. We spent a quiet night at their place.
This site exceeds many RV parks! Highlyrecommended! We enjoyed chatting with Kevin!
We could not have had a better introduction to Boondockers Welcome. Kevin and Julie were great hosts in their beautiful setting. It was the perfect place to explore Mt. Saint Helens and Mt. Rainier. Water and 30 amp hookups were icing on the cake. And the blackberries growing in the nearby hedge were delicious.
Very much enjoyed the refuge here from a slow, hot day of smoky travel. We got in late so didn't have much time to visit with Julie, who is a kind and generous host. She took care of us, got us settled and made us feel welcome. This is a picture perfect place in the countryside complete with gardens, trees/forest and plenty of space to spread out.
One of the best boondocking host and location ever. We were welcomed by Julie and shown the main site which included water and electric. Very quiet and peaceful. Was a real pleasure to see the deer each morning and evening. We were invited to help ourselves to their vegetable garden and also pick all the blackberries we wanted. We boondockers are lucky to have such wonderful people host to us.
This was our first experience as new members, and what a great experience it was. Our hosts were prompt to respond to our request. The directions to their park were spot on and the camping instructions were perfect. We pulled in and the location was exactly as explained. We backed into our spot which was level and clean. Our location (one of many available) had water, power, and black water dump available. We did not use the water or black water service but we did plug in to their power post (even had a pigtail available)
The site was between a neatly mowed lawn and a huge vegetable garden. The gravel was spotless and very level. We took the opportunity to pitch our lawn chairs out and watched the local deer graze alongside the black berry bushes. Upon arriving home, Our hosts made their way over for introductions...a very sweet couple who are certainly paying it forward. In the morning, they stopped by once again and apologized for having to run some errands. They just wanted to ensure that we experienced a comfortable night.
Located about 5 minutes off of the I5 Freeway it is a quick, quiet, and beautiful place to rest for the evening. We would hope they would accept us again for a little longer stay when we are in the area. This place is a gem. Thanks again for your hospitality.
We had a fabulous stay with K&J they were very accommodating and they had plenty of entertaining things for our kids to play with. Thanks for taking them on your fire engine they loved it. Really appreciate our fresh garden produce as well. Thank you and looking forward to returning again soon.
Kevin and Julie made us feel really welcomed. It was our first stay with boondockers and we are pleased to say this was a very positive experience. Thank you Kevin and Julie for your kindness.
We enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very accommodating and even sharing. We enjoyed our stay!
We ended up staying a further 4 days at Julie and Kevin's as circumstances necessitated .
So glad we did! Julie came over and gave us some lettuce from her garden 😃
Would love to stay again if/when we are back this way!
Thanks again for your friendliness and hospitality!!
Great hosts and thank you so much for opening up your lovely place to us Boonies. We were not able to make the first night of our stay so we let them know and it was no problem. Very accommodating and very easy communication. We were not able to meet Kevin and Julie but hope to do so on our way back down. Wonderful experience, thanks so much.
Kevin and Julies place is awesome!
We stayed out by the firepit the first night and were treated to a doe and 2 fawns grazing near by. Beautiful!!
When the other boondockers left the main site in the morning, Julie and Kevin let us move into it to stay another couple of nights. Nice level spot with 30 amp service was a godsend with the heat wave. A/C and all..... :-)
We didn't get to meet Kevin but did meet Julie, very nice lady!
Thanks both of you for being so accommodating!!
Len, Sandra and Scamp
Thanks to our hosts for allowing us to stay at their home. We enjoyed a great location to visit some of the nearby attractions. Our host was very thoughtful and we also got to enjoy their resident deer that frequently visits their apple tree.
My wife and I were fortunate to have stayed at this location. Beautiful and quiet! We didn't have an opportunity to meet Kevin and Julie but chatted with them on our phone. Verizon had 3 bars of 4g signal, and the wifi worked well also. Many thanks, and we're looking forward to meeting them in the future.
We had a great night at Kevin and Julie's place, albeit they were not there. Thanks you very much for your services.
Pete and Ally
We enjoyed meeting the other Boondockers that were there. The kids had a BLAST.
This was our 2nd stay with Kevin and Julie. Half of our family had to fly to the east coast for medical appointments, so the other half of the family stayed here, knowing it would be a safe place. Julie, Kevin and their family are warm and welcoming. Their piece of property is so calming and peaceful. Deer visit daily. We walked around the neighborhood this time and everybody knows everybody and are as nice as can be. Truly, you can’t go wrong by choosing to stay here.
We passed through on a long journey to Seattle for business travel. Our host welcomed us and showed us our options. We chose the secluded area in the back around the beautiful firepit. It was amazing!! We were so exhausted from days of travel, and this little slice of Heaven provided us the rest we needed. We wanted to stay longer!! I hope to go back one day when we have more time. What an amazing place and such a gift :)
It was so great staying at Kevins and Julies place! Greatest hosts and fantastic spot. We liked it so much that we stayed for an extra night :)
This property is so beautiful and has wildlife all over! The hosts are generous enough to provide hook ups, which is always a huge bonus! The hosts were away while I stayed at their place, but were in touch to make sure everything was going well. They were very kind and welcoming, and I hope to return at some point later in my travels. Definitely recommend this spot to anyone passing through!
This was our first time using Boondockers Welcome and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Our hosts we welcoming and lovely. Their property was quiet and peaceful. We are happy campers!!
This was our first BW experience. I think we’ve been spoiled. Kevin & Julie were amazing hosts! Their home/property is beautiful & quiet with lush grass, a walking trail through the forest, & deer grazing in the evening. They encouraged us to relax, put out our chairs & use their fire pit, & the play area for our daughters. We enjoyed talking around the campfire & getting to know them. They are convinient to shopping, Mt St Helens, Mt Rainier, Olympia & more. They RV themselves & have great stories & advice. We were saddened to leave, but grateful for the peace & friendships we experienced. We hope to stay again sometime.
Our hosts were so friendly and open. We enjoyed our visit with them and learning a bit about them. We would love to stay there again.
Very accommodating hosts. I got to use the dispersed camp site and enjoyed watching the deer and listening to the birds. Enjoyed short walks in their personal forrest. Hope to be able to stay again sometime in the future. Thank you for everything!
A splendid place with a beautiful garden and the unexpected visit of deer the two days we spent there. Kevin and Julie were not there but they gave us their trust. It's been six weeks since we've been on the road to discovering the American West and we've never had such a beautiful and peaceful place to spend the night. Thank you very much and we recommend this place.
Endroit charmant et tranquille avons pas vu nos hote .eux MËme parti en voyage mais est survenue un petit problème que meme a distance ils ont pu réglé, endroit parfait, merci beaucoup, je recommande ce 5 étoile.
We really enjoyed meeting Kevin and Julie. They are warm, welcoming and interesting - we enjoyed learning about their work in fire fighting and disaster relief. They are great hosts, and they have a lovely quiet location for an overnight stay.
Great host. The site is very private in beautiful rural setting. Kevin and Julie went out of their way to provide us with everything we needed. Very nice people and I would recommend them to other Boondockers.
Our first experience with Boondockerswelcome and it was very positive. They were so welcoming and accommodating. Hope we can return the favor one day.
This was our first stay as members of this group. They answered promptly, assisted me with backing up to their driveway because I was looking the wrong way :D and have been very kind and generous hosts. I hope we are presenting as good an impression on them as they have on us.
Adding to this as we get ready to leave, I once again stress how kind and generous this couple is. We will, without a doubt, be stopping by here again later this year. I look forward to a long friendship with Kevin and Julie.
Great hosts and very welcoming, even though they weren't home at the time. We contacted them and even though they were away volunteering they offered us their spot. We really didn't expect this and were very grateful. We waited for them to come back so we could thank them in person. The spot is nice, large and private. Great experience and hopefully we'll be back in the area to say hi.
I was blown away by their hospitality. The location is beautiful and hosts incredibly friendly and generous. I would highly recommend to anyone.
What a beautiful treat to stay here. Deer passing through in the morning and a nice quiet garden and yard. They are so hospitable. A loving family and so engaging. I would stay here again in a second. The spot was great also, so level with amenities. Like a class A RV resort, except you are one of the only occupants. I wish I could have stayed longer.
Very nice place not too far off the highway. The primitive campsite is absolutely perfect! Didn't have the chance to meet Julie, but Kevin was very welcoming and easygoing. Would go back anytime we are in the area!
Kevin & Julie's hospitality was was and genuine. We were greatly blessed not just by the provision of a lovely boondocking site, but primarily by their cheerful and encouraging presence. It will be a blessing to be able to host them in return one day, Lord willing.
We stayed one night, along with a few other boondockers. The hosts were away, but still allowed fellow RVers use their property. Amazing. We did meet them in the morning, and they are very nice people! I wish we would have had time to stay longer so we could have gotten to know them better. This was our first Boondockers Welcome experience and got us off to a great start!
We spent two nights with them although wew were only able to spend time with them our last morning. The site is just great. Level and roomy..and aour conversation and the stacking of firewood with other boondockers was great fun. Kevin and Julie did all that anyone could yo make is feel at home.
Kevin and Julie are just good people!! We loved getting to know them and they were some of the best hosts we've stayed with! Not just because of Julie's zucchini bread :) Look forward to seeing these two again in the future!
Both Kevin & Julie were great hosts and have a beautiful setting for overnighting!
One night we got home to find that Kevin and Julie had started a fire and were visiting with the other BoonDockers that were also staying. A great stay and very hospitable folks! Mark & Patsi
We stayed on a Saturday and Sunday at Kevin and Julie's property. It was an incredible spot and they allowed us to use their 30 amp hookup as well as water. We even dumped our gray water tank on our way out the next morning.
They were a delight to talk to and we would highly suggest them to other boondockers in the area.
Thank you, Kevin and Julie for a great place to rest a couple nights.
This was a perfect stop for me. On the way to the Olympic Peninsula, not far off the highway. Several spots, nice and level. The hosts were so kind. We had a chance to visit and a campfire with two other boondockers. Really pretty spot and such nice people! So glad people are willing to host!
Kevin & Julie were wonderful hosts! Very welcoming, friendly and personable.
We sat around the fire pit with 2 other boondockers and our hosts and traded travel stories and tips.
Just a great experience, this is what Boondockers Welcome is all about.....
Thanks Kevin & Julie, hope to see you in Florida sometime.
Kevin and Julie were wonderful hosts to us for our one night stay. They provided excellent communication about their plans and instructions. Their home and property is beautiful and just far enough away from freeways and towns to be in the country yet still be accessible. Deer munched grass near the trailer while we relaxed inside. Cows were nearby and helped to create an aura of quiet country life.
Kevin has water, power and sewer connections available, but we didn't need them. The site is level, nicely graveled and easily accessed from the road. Turnaround space was ample.
Finally, I just have to say how great these people are. We talked with them for an hour or more after they came home from their family obligations. We just had such a wonderful time with them.
Thanks Kevin and Julie!!!!
Although Kevin was fighting fires away from home they still excepted us to stay on thier property with full hookups.
Julie immidiatly let us feel at home which she left open for us at all time.
I think we will stay here for ever....
More people like those two will make the world a better place.
Thank you very much Kevin and Julie.
Kevin and Julie were fantastic hosts, going above and beyond in ensuring we had everything we needed while we were visiting as well as to be on our way again. We unfortunately didn't get to meet Kevin, but Julie was very welcoming & helped us with some tools we needed to make some minor repairs. Their space was lovely and we enjoyed exploring the nearby town of Chehalis. Thanks very much for a great boondocking experience, hope to see you down the road.
Kevin and Julie's space is so beautiful. I feel like I'm in a park (a well-manicured park). The space is off the road behind a large shop and is surrounded by green. It's very peaceful.
Even though they were off on their own adventures, they were wonderful hosts - responsive, accommodating, and gave clear instructions on how to get here and where to park.
Thank you so much for making my first Boondockers Welcome experience a great one!
We stayed 2 times (once when we were going north and once when went in the south). They are very nice and friendly people. They made us very comfortable and made all the facilities available.
Thank you very much for your great welcoming!
Just wanted to drop a quick note about Kevin and Julie, it shows that RVers are AWESOME people! I am late in writing this review. We were up in the Northwest in the summer of 2018, when a family member passed and we had to head south to Utah. I messaged Kevin and Julie to see if we could stay on their property and I immediately received a response back that although he was fighting fires in Oregon, we were welcome to stay. AMAZING!!!! We didn't end up staying, but we sure hope to meet these folks either during our next trip to the Northwest or somewhere on the road! Thanks Kevin and Julie for being such amazing people and so flexible with my very crazy schedule this summer.
Hope to see you on the road!
What friendly and wonderful people. I will see them again on my adventures. Thank you so much for your hospitality.
