We are a married couple, happily enjoying retirement. We both worked our entire lives and now it's time for the fun to begin. We purchased our motorhome in July 2016. After going on several trial runs within a couple hundred miles of our home we finally think we're ready for an extended trip. Our first BIG trip will cover between 3,000 & 4,000 miles roundtrip and will include Grand Canyon. Did I say 'Grand Canyon'??? Yikes, that's way out WEST...our very first road trip in that direction. We can't wait! All of this is so NEW to us, but it's so exciting to think about and preparations are underway. I can't wait to take a couple of day road trips along the historic Route 66. So many places to see and things to do. God has so richly blessed us with natural beauties. We're really excited about meeting new people and making new friends along the way. And, did I mention taking snapshots everywhere...YES!!! Don't forget the cameras!!! So much beauty and excitement just waiting to be enjoyed.

This is all new to us and we've never boondocked. Excited and looking forward to a new way of roaming around.

Grady-Cathy's Rig

As I mentioned, our 'rig' consists of: 'Gentle Jay' (our 31ft. Jayco Greyhawk Class C motorhome), "hitched" to the bumper would be 'Rosie' the carousing Corolla riding on 'Jolly' our tow dolly. We have two slide-outs, but we're totally functional with them in, just less room to walk around.
