Sue is a retired community college counselor. Both she and her husband, Ferron, have been commercial river guides internationally and nationally. Mostly we have guided on the Rogue River in Oregon where we worked and met and eventually became life partners. We love adventure and travel.
During our individual guiding years Ferron guided in Guatemala, Chile and New Zealand. Sue lived and guided in Nepal for two years. In 1999-2000 Sue had a sabbatical from the community college and we drove a chinook camper with our two dogs from Oregon to Guatemala. Ferron drove home with the dogs, and Sue continued her studies and volunteered with indigenous children at a daycare center.
For the past two years we were managers for a small guest villa on the island of Culebra, which is off the east coast of Puerto Rico.
This year we bought a small camper and want to travel with our dogs, Pupeye and Curry, to see the country and visit family and friends.
Ferron is a jack of all trades. Sue is decent on the computer and we can cook good, simple, healthy meals. We are non red meat eaters. Ferron was also a fishing guide.
Merlin, OR but Sue grew up in Boston and Ferron grew up in Childersberg, AL
We have a class B motor home Pleasure Way. It is the size of van, 19' long. We wanted something Sue would feel comfortable drive. It was made in 2000.
