We are getting close to retirement and enjoy meeting others people. Ellis grew up camping and moved with family often. Sheryl grew up on a local farm with animals so always stayed close until we married 35 years ago. We enjoy traveling, meeting locals where ever we are, enjoy our family and are content staying at home if needed.
We are very active in our local fair, and coach two different schools with their FFA kids in leadership contests each spring.
Yes, we have two dogs and three cats. None of our animals have traveled with us.
Any location that is not urban
We live in the country about 16 miles north of Elkhart, IN. The nearest village is about 4.5 miles away. We are within 30 45 minutes to Shipshewana, IN, an amish community; or to Notre Dame in South Bend, IN. Lake Michigan and thr dunes are about an hour away, as well.

We had a great time visiting with these two! Lots of great conversation around the fire. They are welcome back anytime!
We hosted this couple for a few nights. They were easy to host and fun to talk to.
We enjoyed their company and hope to see them in the future! :)
Very friendly and interesting to talk to. Will hopefully be able to drop by and visit with them in the future.
We had this camper as a guest for one night. Good communications, compact rig, and easy to accommodate!
Passing through the area and this was a great place to be able to park my camper and tow vehicle for the night.
Host was super at communication and offered lots of sightseeing options. I was sad we didn't get to spend more time with him as we were just spending the night before moving on. Site is great and as described. He met us there to make sure we got parked alright and was very friendly. I hope we can come back when we have more time to spend. Thanks!
We enjoyed staying one night at Shaven's site. They are very kind people. They also gave us interesting suggestions in visiting Notre Dame University campus. Many thanks!
We wish to see them again.
