Awesome dog park nearby

Very easy location to get to, close to an amazing dog park and playground. Grassy area is very level and a large tree provides lots of shade. The host was amazing and went above and beyond our expectations. Would definitely stay here again. And hopefully we can meet up with him at Oshkosh 🤞🏼

Quick and Easy

Geeky was quick to respond to our request. Clear instructions on where to park because he wasn't going to be onsite. There is a great dog park nearby and plenty of places to get supplies, food etc...quiet night of rest and easy in and out.

Friendly and helpful

The host was a very nice person and even put a 15amp extension cord out which was not used. The location was helpful on the outskirts of town and mostly peaceful. We would be more than glad to return to this location.

Super responsive to a late request. Host even called after accepting to make sure I knew And where to go. Felt safe and slept great.

Fantastic

Geeky was quick with his responses gave me solid advice on a few camper questions I had and offered 30 amp power when it was 27-30 degrees most nights. The white river offered excellent trout fishing and explored the bull shoals dam visitor center. Most campgrounds were $25-40 a night in the immediate area saved me lots of $$$. Thanks Geeky!

A nice in and out for our 41' fiver.

Departing in the next hour and hoping to meet our host before we leave. Due to our size we weren't placed in his "normal" spot under the trees and were placed alongside the road next to the turkey barn. We easily slept to almost 8:00 every day

the Old Turkey Barn is a good stop

The spot at the Old Turkey Barn was perfect. Easy in & out, right off the main highways, quiet, & within walking distance of the local city park. I was able to walk my dog & we even got to watch a couple of softball games too.

Ed greeted us right when he got off work. Very nice fellow! Showed us his vintage Airstream and just let us enjoy a few peaceful days under the old oak tree. Dog park near by also g with hiking trails

Good stay

We had to make some accommodation adjustments due to our height but made it work just fine. Ed is a nice guy and was very helpful in making our stay possible. Thanks again, Ed!

Really nice stay

My stay at the Old Turley Barn was very nice. Very quiet, easy parking and The Geeky Nerd left out the electric for me. There is a very nice dog park just down the hill, as well as a baseball park. I don't have a dog, but if I did I would have really liked the park for them.

Worked out perfectly

An event at the Baxter County fairground brought me to Mountain Home and into contact for an overnight stay. The Geeky Nerd responded quickly to my messages, and even though he wasn't in town for that weekend, he made sure I had all the information I needed to get to the location and set up for the night. The site is located near to town in a quiet neighborhood, was easy to back my 3/4 ton truck and 26' trailer into, flat and level, and has night lighting. Having power to run the trailer A/C was a terrific boon as the temperature that weekend exceeded 100 degrees, a real killer kind of heat with the humidity in Arkansas. I definately appreciated having a stay there!

Thanks so much!

Definitely recommend. The spot was perfect for us to get our bearings around the Mountain home area. Geeky Nerd was prompt with responses, flexible with dates and helpful with ideas. Thanks again.
