We spent 10 years as full-timers dividing our time between winters on our sailboat in Florida and The Bahamas, and summers in our motorhome in Manitoba. A few years ago we bought a house and last winter we sold our sailboat. For the immediate future we're planning to spend our winters traveling in our motorhome.
We enjoy music and art, cultural events, food and wine, walking and biking. We are dog lovers and travel with our wire-haired dachshund.
To date much of our boondocking has been in the boatyard where we stored our boat. In addition we are frequent Walmart and Flying J visitors. Recently we have spent a few nights in Arizona BLM sites particularly enjoying "Saddle Mountain".
We have a Class A motorhome manufactured in Canada in 2002 by Triple E. It's a 35 foot Commander model with 2 slides. We tow a Chevy Equinox.
We stayed with Sailorsrest for three nights and found them to be great hosts and very accommodating. We needed to stay an extra night for better weather to visit the snakes in Narcisse and they had no problems and even extended their invitation. Would love to return someday. Great couple. Many thanks to them!
