We keep our schedule flexible & our minds open to all adventures. We truly love meeting other travellers with which to share stories of the road & life!!! From 2013-2015 we drove from Fort Lauderdale Fla to the Panama Canal & back. 2015 - 2016 was spent Stateside recuperating from surgeries and renovating our camper, so we are ITCHIN' to be back out there! The "open road " is definitely a home for us.
Sheila loves the outdoors, especially water. Snorkeling, kayaking, Supping, bicycling and hiking are right up my alley. I enjoy the mindfulness of yoga & meditation and the healing effect of laughing your butt off! In work mode, I ranged from electrician/electronic tech to owning a deli, worked in fresh floral design & landscaping to Commercial Real Estate property management, bartending to managing an oceanfront hotel.
Ralph grew up in a military family, so moving around the world is in my blood. I spent some time in both the Air Force & Army serving in Berlin. After receiving an honorable discharge, I worked for Sears as a service tech for about 5 yrs., and served as an officer in the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Dept. I spent 7+ years traveling all over Europe, India and Thailand before returning to the States and went into Real Estate in West Palm Beach Fl. where I routinely joined the Million Dollar Sales Club. I spent the last 5 years of my work life serving as a Building Super of a 52 unit high rise. I was an avid golfer & bowler but injuries put an end to that. I have always been active in and enjoyed socializing with the Moose & Elks Lodges.
Ralph aka"Ralph to the Rescue" is a Master Handyman and loves bad jokes! Sheila can share technology, gardening/landscaping, vegetarian cooking and storytelling!
Anywhere we desire, but always (warmish) climate. Our outline & wish list for 2017/2018 will take us from Florida, north through Knoxville TN, to New England, west(through Canada) to the Upper Peninsula MI, Mt. Rushmore, Badlands, Yellowstone, San Juan Nat Seashore WA, south to Redwoods CA, Yosemite, Marina Del Rey, east to Bryce Canyon, Arches UT, maybe down to Mexico... eventually back to South Florida. Our plans are loose and we prefer not to hit any wintery weather for an extended time.
"Ruby" is our 2006 25' Aerolite travel trailer. We spent 8 months of 2016 gutting & (almost) completely remodeling our home ourselves. This is her maiden voyage! "Roxanne" is our 2006 Ford Expedition getting us down the road.
