Since hitting the road as full-time RVers in January 2017, we have found a place to settle down and call a [part-time] home in Sandpoint, Idaho. We still love to travel during the winters, and are enjoying living the snowbird life.

Jon is a General Contractor, and can practically fix and build anything. He's enjoyed using his skills to help others while we were living on the road as full-timers as we volunteered our time on several farms across the country.

Chelsea is a Professional Portrait Photographer and Private Photo Editor for wedding photographers. She's enjoyed being behind the camera, documenting their travels and capturing all the special moments.

Skills & Expertise to Share

Both Jon and Chelsea are successful business owners and have a passion for entrepreneurial endeavors. Jon has owned his own General Contracting and Painting business since 2002 and Chelsea is the owner at Chelsea Mowery Photography since 2013.

JCMowery's Pets

very fun couple

We would recommend this couple to anyone they are very quiet and respectful of the property in fact we would even let them stay while we are gone if they need it. So come on back we are always open to you.

Pleasant pair

They spent a couple days with me while taking in some of the local sights. Both are very nice and their dogs are well behaved as well. I encourage other Boondockers to host them.

An incredible couple and BEAUTIFUL space!

Words cannot express what an AMAZING visit we had! Oh my goodness!
1st, their beautiful home is so quiet and peaceful and they are the SWEETEST couple. They have the nicest spot for us with a crazy stunning view!
But 2nd, we all had so much in common that it's like I knew them forever! I mean, complete with a slumber party with Josie (their Golden) in my camper! Um....and photo shoot! Haha! Chelsea is an INCREDIBLE PHOTOGRAPHER!

Thank you guys so much! I left with a smile on my face and heart full!

Our hosts at Mystic Moose were SO welcoming and engaging. It was so delightful to see these folks living their dream. Their property is a heavenly country experience complete with distant mooring cows, turkey families and deer. We so appreciated the electric power as we are traveling with a cat.

Beautiful setting! Great Hosts!

This was our first Boondockers stay and it was an incredible experience. Chelsea and Jon were great hosts. We enjoyed spending time with them on their lovely farm. Could not have had a better experience. If this is what boondockers is all about I am hooked!

Wonderful!

Our stay couldn’t have been better! The directions were spot on and we were met at the road and shown where to park. Beautiful and quiet property with a concrete pad and 50 amp electric hook up. Our hosts were kind, considerate, informative, interesting and experienced RVers. They allowed us to stay an extra day and we would definitely stay there again!
