My two sons are grown and out of the house, and after my father passed away In 2016 I had the opportunity to purchase an RV to fulfill my dream of traveling around the US visiting national and state parks and visiting friends along the way. My parter, Rachel, and I put 20k miles on the new RV in 2017.
It’s been a learning curve with a few “oops” along the way, but the challenge has been fun & educational. We look forward to meeting new folks and making friends along our journey.
Janet- photography and web design.

"Matilda" is a 2017 Class C Winnebago Trend 23L RV on a Dodge Ram Promaster chassis. I love sitting up high, especially at night (keeps the oncoming headlights out of my eyes), and she handles easily with a tight turning radius. She's easy to park, too, but I'm still pretty cautious! I love that the inside feels larger with a sky light and drop down bed in addition to the rear corner bed and and dinette bed area. It can sleep 6, and 6 can sit comfortably around the table with an extension that turns out from under the end. The front cab chairs turn around to join the L-shaped dinette booths. I'm decorating the interior to suit my taste and give her some character. I love seeing what others have done to their RV as far as storage and decorating.
