We are 2 women with liberal politics. We are the mothers of 2 amazing women. I am retired from law enforcement, and a volunteer builder, woodworker (thank you Grandpa), and backpacker. Karen is an architectural historian and we are both outgoing wanderers of this wonderful planet.

2015 Ford Transit Connect Camper, customized by Reconcampers,Inc. Rig can sleep 2 adults and a grandson :) The roof pops up, much like the old VW campers, with a bed up top and standing room. It is self contained with kitchen and toilet facilities. No markings on the vehicle, other than Ford emblems. It gets 28 mpg on the highway! When parked with the top down, it looks like a regular Transit Connect.
Stayed one night with us, it was the first for both of us. Good communications, Friendly and had a really nice self built van. Welcome again any time. Safe travels.
Easy in and easy out in our CamperVan.
Everyone totally friendly, including Izzie and Sophie, the pups. We exchanged (and drank) a local craft beer from our hometown and from theirs, Lexington, and chatted quite a bit. Probably should have excised ourselves a little sooner.
Thanks for welcoming us into your domain!
Hope to see you both in the very near future.
Gracious hosts, and our camper van was an easy pull in and easy pull out of their driveway.
We probably overstayed with our talking, but fun to exchange local craft beer.
Lots in common—and newly made friends, for sure. We also loved Izzie, and Sophie the shy puppy.
Only warm thoughts.... thanks!!!!!
We had a click right from the start! Had an evening with lots of laughs, good conversations and very good food and drinks. We hope we will meet them in the Netherlands one day so we can return their hospitality!
Enjoyed communicating with the hosts and slept well in the drive.
These two certainly are a happy couple who enjoy life. We could not have been made to feel more welcome and after staying an extra night, it was a little sad to leave. However we are hoping to meet again, be it back in the USA or when they come downunder for an Aussie Adventure.
Nothing is too much trouble for these two and they were full of information and shared their local knowledge of Lexington and Kentucky. Our dinner outings were delightfull with thoughtfull conversation and plenty of laughs.
Thanks again for making our visit just that little bit more special.

Cannot say enough about this delightful stay.
Lexington is a beautiful city and we were so welcome and cared for. We went out for the most marvelous meal with great conversation followed by a quiet night of sleep.
We are honoured to be TardisCamper's first boondockers and would love to return.
