My husband Peter and I both work full time and occasionally can get away for a few days in our self contained 26' Class A 2015 Reyo RV. We live in southeast Florida (Hobe Sound) and hope to enjoy smaller trips closer to our home before we retire to full time RVing and transition to a 37'-42' Tiffin Allegro Bus (or similar).
We have 2 small 12 year old dogs (3 lbs yorkie and 9 lb. chihuahua). Neither are barkers and have very sweet dispositions. We are very conscientious about cleaning up after them. For shorter trips we have a house sitter, consequently we do not always travel with them.
Peter owns a business that buys and sells industrial food processing machinery; I am employed by a national corporation. It is our goal to eventually go into semi-retirement mode and to sell our home (currently in a highly restricted HOA golf community), and build a new home on a large plot of land that will allow us to host our own RV as well as family, friends and potentially members of the boondocker community.
My husband grew up in a family of chefs and he is an amazing chef as well. I am a technology nerd.
Have not boondocked yet!
