Recently sold our home and moved to manufactured home community with about 60% retired neighbors. Also recently purchased our first travel trailer (22ft box)and have been on one trip to Nashville,TN to see the Opryland Country Christmas decorations and activities. We have a 13 lb. dog and she went with us for 6 days and we had a great time, and loved the trailer. We hope to be able to travel around these United States for the next 3 or 4 years at least, if our health permits. Husband loves to take photographs and we both like hiking and are also beginning bike riding again.
We have not done this yet. We only camped at 2 full service camp grounds so far. The first was where the trailer was parked by the previous owners for the summer season. We spent the weekend next to the previous owners and they tutored us on everything about the trailer. Then we took it by ourselves to Nashville, TN about 2 weeks ago. Another camper who has his rig parked in the same storage lot as ours told us about Boondockers Welcome.
