He spent his career raising hogs and grain. Hog operations were sold, but he manages the corn and soybean farming remotely. She worked as an electrical engineer in the semiconductor world. We both share a love of traveling and motorcycling, so what better way to do both than go full-time in a RV with a motorcycle trailer?
He is handy with just about anything and like to fix stuff. (likes to fix other people's stuff more than his own though ;) ). She is pretty good with computers.
We have not done a lot of real boondocking yet, but have enjoyed just about every place we've stayed. Might have a express a preference for locations that offer some proximity to great produce though. We love to explore local areas on our motorcycles and stop for local flavor. :)
He is originally from Peoria, IL and she is from Columbus, KS. They met and lived in north Texas (Lewisville, Denton) before hitting the road.
Our rig is a 2005 40' Tiffin Allegro Bus with 4 slide-outs. We are pulling an 8x12 enclosed trailer which hold our two touring motorcycles.
