We Troy and Sylvia do a lot of road trips, usually without planing ahead. We prefer campgrounds with hot showers but we've camped at Walmart, casinos and other parking lots. We like card games, especially euchre. Troy likes fishing and he can suggest nice spots close by. Sylvia enjoys hiking and photography while Troy's fishing

The spot is as described: quiet, near the trail, and easy to drive in and out. We were welcome to plug in with our 50’ extension cord. A lovely place to stay for the night.
We enjoyed our stay. Large tree and grass lawn that backs onto the 45km Kissing Bridge Trailway running from Guelph to Millbank. Excellent well cared for path that is great for walking, jogging or cycling.
The Jarvis hosts were incredibly generous and my stay there was a welcome break from driving and our first blast of winter! A lovely walking trail for us to enjoy and a quiet spot to enjoy.
Thank you 😊🐾
We got a late start to our travel day and were looking for a last minute place to land that wasn’t too long of a drive. I checked Boondockers Welcome and found the Jarvis home. They promptly answered my request and here we are! My husband and I had a great visit with this sweet couple. We highly recommend this place!
We really enjoyed our stay and felt very welcome. Thank you for your hospitality.
Friendly, easy to talk to, and engaging. Very accommodating too. A pleasant boondocking experience.
Thanks so much to Sylvia and her husband for letting us stay at their place. It's been perfect for one night as we were visiting the area over the weekend. The location is very scenic and full of greenery. Very quiet country side road too, perfect for a restful night. Thanks again!
We had a great time staying at the Jarvis's! It was our first time staying in our new RV and at a Boondockers home. It was so much fun. Sylvia was kind and engaging, making sure we had everything we needed. She generously supplied us with fire wood for the fire ring in her beautiful big backyard as we had a bonfire both nights of our stay. We would definitely book again!
Thanks so much again for a great first experience!
A big Thank You to the Jarvis's for their hospitality. They were very accommodating by allowing us to park our truck beside the Travel Trailer even though we offered to use the alternate driveway. We enjoyed a few kilometers walk on the groomed trail close to their property, and a nice evening of laughs and conversation with a bottle of wine with Sylvia. This was our first Boondockers Welcome stay and what a friendly, welcoming experience it was. This experience has convinced us to try some more location and we cant wait to meet new hosts and experience what they want to share with other Boondockers Welcome members.
We only had a short stay and the weather didn’t comply, but Troy and Sylvia were wonderful hosts and we would happily stay with them (or host them) again!
We were greeted by the hosts when we arrived, and they were very relaxed about having people at their property. Later on, we had a nice visit over coffee with the man of the house, as his wife was out for the evening. This worked well for us, and we are grateful for their hospitality and laid back attitude towards the kids. Much better than camping at the local trailer park, which is the only available campground at this time of year.
Thanks for letting us stay even though you were not going to be there. Sorry we did not get a chance to meet you. Hopefully next time.
Very convenient to the St. Jacobs market, spent several hours and a few $$$ there.
We were welcomed by the owner who let us park in front of their garage. We were given hydro and a lot of details regarding our trip around the Georgian Bay. We were able to share a few drinks and relate with the current affairs.
In the morning, it was nice to walk the dog on the bicycle path which is just behind the house.
Thank you again for your very good work as hosts.
We had a relaxing stay. Directions were clear. Quiet location once afternoon traffic was over. Slept well - regretted our early departure to make our appointment in Kitchner. Hope to visit again.
Really enjoyed talking to the Jarvis.
Thanks for recommendations on where to go and for lending us your pass so we could get in free.
Lovely area and very nice people.
The Jarvis were great hosts. Nice long driveway to park in and our hosts could not do enough for us to make our stay a pleasant one. They made us feel welcome and we had a great visit with them with wine, beer and homemade perogies. We would recommend anyone to stay with them.
Our host was welcoming and site was level and easy to get in and out We would stay again. In fact, we stayed the next night! Thank you, Jarvis. Hope to see you in our neck of the woods. There is still lots to talk about.
