I am brandnew to RVing. So new that we don't pick it up until next week! I love to sing and play guitar, though my voice is giving out on me. I have the best part time job driving for a Cadillac dealer, mostly doing dealer trades. This morning I drove a 2017 Cadillac CT6 to Cheyenne (from Boulder, CO) and brought a new Escalade back. Tough job....not. A lot of our traveling will be visiting new startup churches from our small denomination as well as sight see along the way. Being able to Boondock will help us tremendously to keep us on the road! I'm very excited to join this friendly and generous group. I wish I could return the favor, but our house is up for sale. Nothing like diving in, huh?
I'm afraid my computer skills are diminishing. It's been 12 years since I've retired, but I still know a little bit about Mac computers. I have done some photography and design of things like business cards and note cards.
Haven't tried any yet!
I grew up in a small town in WV (Lost Creek) and then Alfred Station, NY. Both places were small, but very different cultures, yet surprisingly similar from my view . WV had coal trucks running in front of my house all day long. In NY, we lived on a big rig route with sand and gravel trucks, as well. Bicycle riding was always a thrill! (Narrow, 2 lane roads.) Both homes had trains running at the edge of the backyard. Today, parents wouldn't let their little kids run loose around town but we were riding bikes, playing on the tracks, riding around town....and we all survived!!
We'll be traveling with a Kodiak 330BHSL trailer being pulled by a Sierra GMC. The trailer is 37ft. The picture is of a white and black unit but our unit is tan/brown tones.
