My name is Nancy C Cullinan (married to Arthur G Knapp,) and I was born and raised in Ottumwa, Iowa. Husband is from Santa Barbara, California, and we lived there and worked in the accounting field until retiring and enjoying fulltime RVing. I have a large family in Iowa and our 3 sons, etc live in California, so we make the Iowa-California-Texas (our home when we are not traveling) loop often with many side trips to favorite places such as Kalispell, Montana; Seattle, Washington; Illinois; etc. We love to stop and visit family and friends as we travel. Our 2017 traveling has been a little different this year. On May 1 my husband began his dream of riding his bicycle across the United States. We began the TransAmerica Bicycle Trail in Astoria, Oregon, and had an incredible adventure ending on July 30 in Yorktown,Virginia. http://www.mytripjournal.com/Arts_TransAmerica_Bike_Trail is his TRIP JOURNAL telling all about the bicycle ride. I drove "BIG BLUE" and provided clean dry socks (when necessary,) coffee occasionally and a place to sleep at the end of each day. When possible, I drove the same route Art bicycled (I did not follow him closely, I was usually a few hours behind) but there were times I chose to drive the interstate instead of the small county roads he was following. I like reading, walking ....and some bicycling!
Husband is a great cook!
