We are Walker and Danielle, two artists living full time in our 25' fifth wheel trailer. Walker is a painter and Danielle is a filmmaker and illustrator and fiber artist. We met in art school and after living for a few years on the island of Martha's Vineyard (we love its bohemian arts culture) have set out on the road looking for a life of less things and more time to create and enjoy the outdoors. We also found RV living to be an easy way to make our lifestyle as sustainable as possible, our rig generates all its own power via solar and is out fitted with an on board composting toilet (it doesn't smell, really)! We have a passion for creating and are both deeply inspired by the natural world. We love sharing our artwork with others, especially as thank you gifts ;)
Walker is able to share: drawing and art lessons, solar power knowledge, fitness education and skills, light carpentry, great cooking, and experience working with kids in schools and summer camps. Plus he makes a mean cup of coffee.
Danielle is able to share: film making and photography skills, extensive fiber art knowledge and demonstrations, serious illustration and graphic design skill, animal care, theater design, puppet building.
2008 Flagstaff fifth wheel 25' pulled by a Chevy 2500HD. We've seriously customized the trailer with a new red paint job with white trim, it looks like a barn! All our power is generated by 400 watts of solar panels on the roof, and we have a completely self contained composting toilet to reduce our water usage. It has a single slide in the dinette. We've entirely renovated the interior with new faux wood floors and rustic decor.
We think of this couple as the dynamic duo because of their many talents, knowledge, and approach to things!
We had inspiring conversations with them the evenings they stayed with us! It felt like talking with old friends! Both are extremely gifted artists! They were perfect guests and are welcome here anytime. We will stay connected with them in the future and hope to see them back here again someday.
