We like to laugh, tell stories, read, work out, maintain small gardens, snuggle grandchildren, and ski. We are retired Donna, teaching (recently) Don, the gas industry. We are just putting our airstream on the road for a long distance run this September after two years of renovation. Don wanted to keep the 70's theme. It is just that except the beds, floor, and gaucho. When we are not on the road, we spend the winter skiing almost every weekend in Killington, VT where we have a winter home. We figure in a couple more years we won't keep up with the seven grandkids, but we'll try. When not skiing, we work around the house or on the airstream. We are fix it yourself kind of folks.
Donna's a great cook and I'm Fix it kind of guy
We have an 8yr old golden doodle an is very well behaved ,she also travels with us.
Columbia Ct rural town Easter ct, good travel rd getting here.
1978 28' airstream been working on it for 2.5 yrs. no slide outs ready for the road
What great first time guests for us to host. We enjoyed meeting and learning about our fellow travelers.
Their boondocking rig is very nice. I was impressed with the restoration of their vintage Airstream.
The big bonus is that they invited us to stay with them when we make our trek to Me. We look forward to offering Duck2 a place to park here again at Basecamp RCB anytime. As our first Boondockers Welcome guests, we would reccomend Ducky2 highly as fellow Boondockers.
Ducky2 quickly responded to my inquiry and provided all the information I needed. He was there to welcome me and helped me back into the space he had available. He made sure I had everything I needed. I felt very comfortable in this very beautiful area despite the rain and cold weather. I'd highly recommend an overnight stop. Thanks again Don.
Quiet place just off main thoroughfare. Sweet dog and an awesome airstream! Even gave me popcorn for the road! Yum!
