Dropped by for an overnight. Had a great visit, very friendly folks. Drop by for Happy Hour any time!
We received a very warm welcome and had a fantastic time chatting on the chairs in their lovely back garden. The kids got to have a run around and play with some fun toys, as well as petting the cute pets that were pottering about. Very helpful in terms of water, electric, wifi and levelling blocks for the camper. Kind friendly people and fun exhanging travelling stories. Thanks again! :-)
What can I say? Walt and Lesley were the perfect first visit for us in the Boondockers Welcome community. Great conversation, completely hospitable, helpful and authentic. It was the best way I can think of to get things started and I am so thankful for our new BC friends. We hope to cross paths again in the near future!
These folks, and their furry companions, are incredibly welcoming. Their home is easy to find after crossing the border from the U.S. and is located on a wide street with lots of trees. They have a level paved area right off the street with water and electric, should you wish. Walt will even provide a couple of blocks to get an exact level, if needed. Arrive in time for happy hour so you can sit in their park like back yard and snuggle the sweetest little dogs you can imagine, aptly named Mr. Snuggles and the sparky Pippin. They are happy to give you travel advice, should you want it, yet are not the least intrusive. These are the kind of people you would love to have as neighbors and when you leave you know you have new friends. Thank you for a great experience. I highly recommend you stop over with these nice folks. Jean and Gypsy
This was our first time visiting a fellow Boondocker, and our hosts, Walt and Lesley, really went out of their way to offer us helpful advice, and to make our experience as comfortable as possible. They are lovely, kind, friendly folks and we very much enjoyed spending some time with them and their extended family! Hope to see you again!
