My wife and I , and the dog, all live in Southern California, about 70 miles north of downtown Los Angeles. We were both therapists at Kaiser Permanente when we worked. We enjoy our retirement, especially when we are out in out truck camper. Usually we look for forest service campsites, or a good boondocking spot to spend the night. We have two grown children, one married and one about to get married. Our daughter is expecting to make grandparents out of us in mid January. We are both originally from Pennsylvania, born, raised, and educated. My wife's father was a college professor in the music department at Bucknell University.
Mostly in the southwest, California, Arizona, Utah. In California, we also love to go up to the Eastern Sierra.
We live in Palmdale, CA. We just moved here in April from Santa Clarita, 33 miles to the south. Palmdale is high desert, near Edwards AFB. We are here to be near our daughter and husband, and because we wanted a smaller house that we could pay off with the proceeds from the sale of our house in Santa Clarita.
We have a Lance 855s truck camper. It has one slide-out. The truck is a 2014 Ram 3500, Laramie model, short bed, single rear wheel, diesel.
