We are a couple in our late 50s, who recently retired after 30+ years in policing. Our dream was to really experience North America, so we leased out our house, put all of our belongings into storage, purchased a 36 foot Tiffin Phaeton and hit the open road. We are travelling with our chocolate Labrador retriever (Porter) who is very friendly and always up for an adventure. In his "free time" John likes to build and play guitars, and listen to all kinds of music while Dina keeps working at her photography and travel blog. We both enjoy hiking, kayaking and exploring the great outdoors, yet are equally into theatre, museums and other arts.
John is good with woodworking and Dina is a pretty good cook.
Have experienced Walmart parking lots, a couple of Boondockers Welcome locations in eastern Canada and one down in Georgia.
We have a 2016 class A, Tiffin Phaeton with 4 slides, and our toad is a 2016 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk.
It was a pleasure to meet these nice people. They stayed with us one night and we hope to see them again if they are back in our area. Our dog Charlie looked for their dog Porter for 20 minuets after they left.
What a nice couple. Had great conversation and enjoyed getting to know them both and Porter as well. Would love to have them stop by again sometime.
John and Dina stayed with us for a couple of nights would recommend them any time, had some interesting conversation with them and their dog Porter is a great dog.A lovely couple who are touring for a few years.
