We are a 40 something couple, who have been dreaming and planning this new adventure for the past 3 years. We first discovered RV life after a summer tent camping trip. The people, places, and things we discovered truly captures the life we have chosen to live. My husband is a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps and my background is in hospitality as a general manager. We have 3 grown children, ranging in age from 18-23, whom are very supportive of our new journey. We will be traveling for the next year, in hopes of becoming full-timers. Are philosophy is " Life isn't about the destination, it's about the journey". We enjoy meeting new people, listening to good music, casual bike rides, long walks, playing cards and board games, canoeing, listening to music, and discovering new places. RV life emulates our philosophy and provides the ability to work for the day, while living in the moment.
We have yet to boon dock, but are looking forward to the experience.
Our home base is Virginia!
Our "camper" as I like to call it is a 2007 30FT Keystone Cougar 5th Wheel. It has 1 slide out, an awning, and runs off 30 amps. We love our camper and have decorated it on the inside to be a moving vision board, reminding us everyday how hard we worked and all the sacrifice it took to be able to make our dream come true. We feel blessed to have this opportunity.
Jbkrayz came back for two more days. They had problems with there converter so they didn't have any power. I was able to fix it and get them back on the road. I really feel that I have made new friends and would have them back anytime. Thank You Both For Your Service. Jacksnuts
