We are an active family of 6. We are self employed-working with the Amish in our area as well as owners of several rental properties. Our kids are homeschooled. We travel during the winter months to escape the bitter cold of Wisconsin! During the summer months we enjoy gardening, horseback riding, swimming, hiking, cookouts, and playing outside. We are very active Boondockers Welcome hosts with guests almost every weekend! We love meeting new people and to be a small part of their adventure.
We have a beautiful, black lab named Hunter who lives for his ball. We also have a very small Pekingese mix named Tinkerbell. She is happiest lounging on the couch.
Our favorite spot- so far- was in Custer State Park on a side road during the off season. We were able to hear elk calling in the night.
We live on 15 acres in rural central Wisconsin.
1996 Holiday Rambler 40 ft diesel pusher with one slide out. We have custom Amish-built bunks so that each of our kids have their own space! We tow a Jeep.
Greeted upon arrival and set up was easy with full access to WiFi and 50 amp availability if needed
Enjoyed meeting some of the family and felt at home viewing their garden and surrounding land. Set up availability for 2 air bnb if needed in the future.
All in all a quick and pleasant stay
Check them out and we hope to drop by again.
Beautiful spot and so peaceful and serene. Hosts were great, kids were awesome, and Hunter, the dog, loved to play fetch.
We loved the area so much we stayed two extra days. Their suggestions of things to do where perfect. We would definitely stay there again.
We really enjoyed meeting this wonderful family and trading travel experiences with them. I wish we could have stayed longer so we could have visited some of the Amish businesses in the area. We would love to return again.
This family is awesome! The host responded to my day of request within an hour - much appreciated! Our dog enjoyed playing with their dog. It was just my husband and I but we would love to return with our daughter who is also homeschooled (as their kids are). Thank you for your warm hospitality, use of your wifi and electricity and farm-fresh lettuce. :)
What a beautiful American dream family. Only our second stay with a Boondockers Welcome host and we
are happier all the time that we are participating. Beautiful setting off the beaten path. Thank you to such a
This place gets an 11 on a scale of 1-10. They came down to meet us with their whole family, introduced all of them, and showed us where we could park. They had 50 amp power and water. Hope we get a chance to stay here again.😁👍
As soon as we arrived at this Boondockers Welcome location, we fell in love with it’s natural beauty and friendly family of six. During our stay, we saw and heard numerous song birds including stunning Baltimore orioles, cardinals and orchard orioles. There were so many interesting things to experience while there, including a ‘guided hike’ by their two sons in their peaceful forest nearby and kicking back on a porch swing built for two overlooking a lovely field. Our dog loved this place and everyone welcomed him with open arms.
We were invited to bring and share food to their big family BBQ. And... they introduced us to our first ever Culver’s Ice Cream. Yummm! Our hosts and their four children were informative, extremely accommodating and thoughtful. We enjoyed being part of their family during our visit. We had a hard time saying goodbye and look forward to our next stay at Right Turn Ranch.

On a massive journey of wrong turns the Right Turn Ranch was a Dreamweaver come true!
This beautiful family opened their hearts and their home to us and we couldn't be more grateful to them. What was planned as a quick one night stop off turned into two stunning days of fun, love and laughter. We were challenged to a game of capture the flag, treated to a dessert at Culvers, educated on the Amish Community, and helped (watched) the team build a brand new treehouse. The kindness this family shared with us was overwhelming! We arrived a little down and with no electricity in the RV but all was fixed in no time with some handy electrical work and a hug. I can confidently say we've made friends for life and I look forward to our paths crossing again. You're a bunch of sunny personalities and we thank you for everything!!
Lots of love,
Mary & Amelia.
Great hosts, beautiful family and perfect area to boondock. Hosts were helpful and accommodating. Would highly recommend,!!
So kind and welcoming. My daughters had the best time. I wish we had more than one night to explore the area and farms.
Great place to stay with a nice view. Beautiful drive both in and out. Nice trail to hike. My GPS was a bit confused about actual road but, it's only 100 yards or so to the right one.
It was so lovely to meet this great family and to take in this beautiful part of the world. Thank you for your generosity and for the very comfortable and welcoming stay.
We loved visiting with this wonderful family! They are welcoming, generous and so helpful, we really felt at home while staying here in this idilic spot in the country. We enjoyed driving and seeing the Amish community close by in the area, then learning about how they live. We would have stayed forever if my 10 yr old daughter had anything to do with it! thanks guys! xxx
What a wonderful place in the heart of true Wisconsin! This is a beautiful farm on a hillside overlooking a valley. So much space to park and convenient electric. Our Labrador Retrievers were welcome and loved their walk. They made us feel as though we were just visiting family. So kind!
At our arrival, our hosts greeted us warmly and told us to park anywhere we wanted on their property. They treated us as family members! With a clear sky and our hosts’ property located up a hill, it was perfect for stargazing. So after diner, Denis set up his telescope to show some celestial objects to our hosts, their children and another Boondockers Welcome guest. While watching the sky, we enjoyed chatting with them about our trip. We also had a very peaceful night at their location. We highly recommend them!
We had a great time at Dreamweaver's place! This family were so kind, helpful and great hosts! They have a beautiful home & quiet setting. Wish there was more time to talk to them.
Awesome family, awesome yard, awesome time. We stayed here one night and WISH we could have stayed longer. The family was so sweet and our daughter went swimming and played with their daughter from the moment we arrived. They have a yellow submarine in their backyard and the lowdown on where the fresh cheese curds are. We saw so many Amish families when leaving. My daughter cried when we left the next day. Thanks again for the wonderful memories guys!
At the beginning, we were supposed to stay one night, but meeting this extraordinary family had us stay a whole week! All of us had a wonderful time sharing adventure stories. They didn't only let us stay on their land, they welcomed us like family. We will forever be grateful for your generosity and hospitality. Hoping we can meet again, anywhere, as long as you all be there!
Dreamweaver we're wonderful hosts to us as our final BDW stop over. They greeted us with smiles upon our arrival and immediately gave us some time to decompress from the road, which can be rare, and was quite welcome.
We got a chance to chat with their lovely family and folks about our travels and experiences, but I regret not getting to hear more about their story, as they seemed very interesting with a lot of wisdom to share.
The entire family was exceedingly lovely, and we really hope to get a chance to see them again. Best wishes on your adventures!
We were lucky to spend a night with this lovely family. we spent an enjoyable evening and joined the family for a coffee before we left the next morning. Highly recommend a stay with these folks. We hope they will come spend some time with us!
Dreamweavers have a little piece of heaven they choose to share with fellow travelers. The views are lovely, the trails through the hills are well maintained, and the family is equally lovely. They made us feel SO welcome! The children are well-spoken and well-behaved, as are their animals. Wonderful place to get away from it all!
Our family boondocked with Dreamweaver for several days and had a wonderful time! Our kiddos played together, their property was so peaceful and inviting, and their family was incredibly generous and thoughtful. What a delightful part of our trip!
We stayed two nights in October at this location. We were welcomed and treated like family. It was wonderful to see all of the animals. We even were able to get a ride in an Amish buggy and buy Amish made candy and treats. We would definitely stay here again.
