Last winter we traveled 18,000 kilometers in our motor home; all the way from Ontario to California and back. We have spent many winters in Florida and prior to this motor home owned a sailboat which we lived aboard each winter. The sailboat allowed us to cross the Gulf of Mexico and explore Mexico and Central America.
We enjoy meeting new people and entertaining.
Arizona and Florida have both provided some very interesting boondocking explorations.
We hang out onlong the St. Lawrence River in the Lansdowne/ Gananoque area in the spring summer and fall.
We have a 36' Country Star by Newmar 2002. We tow a Honda Fit.
Even though it wasn't at Smuggler's Cove and pouring rain the host was very accommodating.
Thank you to this sweet couple for hosting us For a brief overnight as we passed through this beautiful Thousand Islands area. Our hosts were very gracious and accommodating as we arrived late after a very long day’s drive. We hope we can reciprocate should you ever pass our way.
We stayed recently at the lovely, quiet spot right on the water. The hosts went out of their way to accomodate us after just returning from their own trip. We didn’t get a chance to chat for long but appreciated the pit stop and local tips. Thanks
We stopped in the 1000 Islands the first day of our two week trip. Our hosts were very nice and accommodating. We could use their hydro, walk to their dock and enjoy the country side.
We appreciated the quiet neighborhoods. We enjoyed sharing our experience as boaters.
Thank you so much.
Very accommodating and helpful. Beautiful waterfont setting; pleasant, 'easy to talk to' hosts; with the resultant WONDERFUL first BoondockerWelcome stay. HIGHLY

Smugglers cove retreat is a perfect place tolle explore 1000 Island. Thank you for all your nice informations!
They were both very friendly and helpful. Had a wonderful experience at this beautiful place. Would come back every time.
Had a great visit with Glenda and Bob. This is the second time in our travels that we and our host have friends and acquaintances in common. Lovely quiet spot to spend the night. We enjoyed your hospitality

At our arrival, Glennda helped us out to get set up between their house and their RV. They also showed us around the house. Later that evening, they talked to us about their trips with their motorhome and gave us some tips. We spent a quiet night at their place and felt very safe. As our first boondocking experience, we could not have asked for more. We highly recommend them as hosts!
Thank you Glenda and R, we were very well in your place!! The spot is marvellous, and our help was very appreciated. We recommande these boondocking!
Spent a very pleasant one night with Glennda. Arriving on a hot day a cold beer was pressed into our hands. Lots of chat on RV ing/ caravanning in the U.K. And our disappointment in our rental RV.
Thanks for the advice about propane refill at the flying J. So glad we did this as the campsite shut their filling down at 5pm.
What a beautiful, peaceful place to live. We passed the next day on our 1000island cruise.
Hope the dock gets sorted soon and you don't get too much water.
