Last winter we traveled 18,000 kilometers in our motor home; all the way from Ontario to California and back. We have spent many winters in Florida and prior to this motor home owned a sailboat which we lived aboard each winter. The sailboat allowed us to cross the Gulf of Mexico and explore Mexico and Central America.
We enjoy meeting new people and entertaining.
Arizona and Florida have both provided some very interesting boondocking explorations.
We hang out onlong the St. Lawrence River in the Lansdowne/ Gananoque area in the spring summer and fall.
We have a 36' Country Star by Newmar 2002. We tow a Honda Fit.
At our arrival, Glennda helped us out to get set up between their house and their RV. They also showed us around the house. Later that evening, they talked to us about their trips with their motorhome and gave us some tips. We spent a quiet night at their place and felt very safe. As our first boondocking experience, we could not have asked for more. We highly recommend them as hosts!
Thank you Glenda and R, we were very well in your place!! The spot is marvellous, and our help was very appreciated. We recommande these boondocking!
Spent a very pleasant one night with Glennda. Arriving on a hot day a cold beer was pressed into our hands. Lots of chat on RV ing/ caravanning in the U.K. And our disappointment in our rental RV. Thanks for the advice about propane refill at the flying J. So glad we did this as the campsite shut their filling down at 5pm. What a beautiful, peaceful place to live. We passed the next day on our 1000island cruise. Hope the dock gets sorted soon and you don't get too much water. Brilliant hosts. A and A
